Tortilla flats has been a staple of mine for eating out the last decade now. It used to be a 5/5 restaurant that a lot of people didn't know about. Ever since the pandemic hit this place has been on a steadily decline and it's really unfortunate. They re-did the menu and jacked all the prices up 30%+ across the board. I understand everything is going up with inflation but it's now more expensive than a lot of other Mexican options nearby and it's just not worth it now. The people here are nice but the service is typically inconsistent (depends who you get waiting your table). It used to be a no-brainer to go here if I was craving Mexican but competition is becoming more fierce and they have priced themselves out as far as I'm concerned. I will say though I have never been disappointed in the food quality. Great chips and salsa and the enchiladas are delicious.

The last three times we have ordered from this restaurant the hamburger meat has been very bland with no seasoning. Use to be very good but not lately so we will not be going back.

I decided to have a family member pick up some comfort food today with all the stress happening. I'm pleased to say chicken strips are delicious as always, and the fries are so good! I have to fight my family to keep them to myself! Thanks again!

The food is bland. If you are trying to watch your sodium intake this is the place for you. The mild salsa taste like marinara sauce. This is the second time I've ordered a chicken dish and it didn't even have salt and pepper on it. The server was sweet and kept our drinks refilled, checked on us regularly.

I've been in here twice and both times the food was great and the service was terrible. Also the toilet wouldn't flush.
Kid-friendliness: They were out of kids menus and the server had zero tolerance for my child.

I would not recommend at all, seriously disappointed.
The food took almost an hour to get to us when the restaurant was mostly empty. The salsa and chips were terrible, we had our order asked for 3 times (if you need to write it down, write it down). The margaritas were basically juice and the food was comparable to a TV dinner. I'm not sure how this place is in business.

Love this place in Gladstone, MO. We go every Monday for Taco Night. They have $2.00 tacos, orange or white cheese, great margaritas and the service is top notch. Our server was Tara and she is awesome. Food comes very quickly even when the place is packed, and the tacos are delicious. I will definitely go back. Anyone looking for an excellent taco experience needs to go to Tortilla Flats!!!

I am not sure if it was the canned chicken or the spinach in my Quesadilla but I am pretty sure chills, cramps, fever, and vomiting 1.5 hours after your meal is called food poisoning. Called to let the staff know as common courtesy, they did not seem to care over much:/ At least I was the only one in my partie that ate of the chicken today so I suffer alone. 6-8-2024 avoid the chicken and spinach (maybe for a few days)

Part of my plate looked like dog food, the other like cat food and you can get more flavor from Taco Bell not to mention it was so soggy I could have used a spoon. Chips were not fresh by any means and seeing maybe 3 bites were taken I’m pretty irritated to pay $20 for half a diet soda.
