They get a one star for the lack of dignity to allow their customers to enjoy a drink after a long days work. No one wants to hear your drama. Save it for your mama.

Waited for nearly two hours, was given drinks and orders taken. Sat for well over an hour, received a pitcher of water and was never checked in on again. Other than to be lied to and told it was busy outside when it really wasn’t busy at all and no one was even eating outside.

Terrible service took 25 minutes to even get drinks took an hour and 30 minutes just to get food and brought out the Something we never even ordered. 86 three things off the menu on a Friday night because you wanna be lazy and not remake stuff would not recommend for eating at all

We gave this another try tonight after giving up on it last year. We were excited that it was under new management and new chef. I’m sorry to say we won’t be back.

We had a party of 8. We arrived at 6 pm. There was no wait, only 4 other tables were occupied. Our waitress informed us that it was just her and the cook so our food we be slow. That was fine. It took 45 minutes to get our food. However, no other food came out of the kitchen besides ours during that time, except 2 appetizers for another table that arrived 30 minutes after we had placed our order. From the time we sat down at 6 pm until our food arrived shortly after 7 pm. We watched 3 different tables get up at walk out because no one had ever taken their order. That is a total of THIRTY people who walked out.

We ordered our drinks. They have a full bar. Two people in our party ordered wine; but were told they had no wine because “it hadn’t come in yet”. Our drinks took about 15 minutes to arrive and did not all come at once.

After waiting for a bit, a different waitress came and took our food order. This is advertised as a CAJUN restaurant. They were out of jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, and etouffee. The chicken salad was one fried chicken tender (from a frozen bag) with 1 cucumber and 1 cherry tomato. Having been to the restaurant before, the salad was served in the same bowl the side salad was served in previously. This was not worth $12.99.

Two people ordered shrimp and grits. One had 4 pieces of shrimp, the other had 5. Everyone said the shrimp was good. That was the only positive on this entire dinner.

Another person ordered a burger which came with a side of fries. The burger was served with no fries and the waitress said they would be right out. They never came. The food was all served lukewarm at best.

Our waitress came around once and asked if we wanted more drinks, we ordered them, she never came back with them. We had all finished our drinks before the food arrived. We had to ask the cook for waters which came just as we were paying the bill.

The entire experience was laughable. Needless to say, we won’t be back and I’m guessing the 30 people who walked out won’t be either. We really wanted this to be good because the building is great and we love supporting local Westside businesses. I understand that they have only been open two weeks, but if you don't have trained staff, enough staff, or the food or wine to run the business do not open yet. First impressions are important and this one failed the test.

The Eloise Cajun Cuisine restaurant is absolutely delicious! The food is fresh and just what you’d expect if you were in NOLA!

First night open under new owner, George and family (Friday, Memorial Day weekend, 2026). The food was really good. I had the Cajun baked potato, which is a baked potato covered with a cheese/Rotel sauce that has baby shrimp in it (although I think it might have been crawfish tails) and garnished with chopped green onions. It was unusual but very tasty and filling. The owner (George) came to out table to introduce himself and to make sure we got good food and service. There were some opening night learning curve issues, but we understood that and could easily overlook it, and the staff continually checked in with us and were very sincere in their effort to provide good service to us. We stopped here last year when the place was run by a different owner. Although we are from another state and may not get the opportunity to stop here again, I'm hoping for the best for this new owner in making the place a thriving success.

no one ever answers the phone, wont respond to messages or emails. voicemail is always full. Cant reserve a campsite online, the site is so slow.

We ate lunch and there was no AC on, no lights on in dining room, 1 waitress who also happened to be the cook that day, no internet so had to pay in cash, service slow, noticed that it looked like dining room wasn't cleaned, grime on table and condiments on table. Have ate there before and was better but won't go back

Cool spot near the Ozarks. Service was great, food was good. We went on an early Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. We got egg rolls and signed smash burger with onion rings. For dessert, cheesecake, which was not a slice, but round like a cupcake, but great flavors with caramel and chocolate sauce. Nice place!
