Worst brisket I’ve ever had in my life. I may as well bought a pack of beef jerky. So tough and burnt. 0 stars. Would not recommended. In Quincy I go to Fatback’s every time and it’s so moist and amazing.

Really good brisket and pulled pork. I don't eat BBQ sauce and Big Muddy doesn't need it. Moist and meaty, flavorful but not over powering. The potato salad is really good, baked sweet potato perfect. I am a fussy cook and when I say this place is got the food I mean it. No regrets and will be stopping for more.

We had previously eaten here several months ago with my service dog. When we went in today, we were refused service for her. ADA prohibits that. I just want others to know in order not to patronize if you have a service animal.

My question is how does this place draw customers? Yes, it smelled good, but the cabinets are falling apart, there’s dirt crusted around the edges of the floor, and the outside is anything but clean. We couldn’t get beyond the front door, so we turned around. I should’ve taken photos, but I didn’t want to appear too obvious.

Very good brisket sandwich but expensive. Not their fault for the cost of everything these days 😔 If they don't charge a price that makes them money then they can't pay their bills. Very good brisket sandwich though.

This is THE small town gem everyone passes not knowing what they are passing. And absolute must stop everytime im in Hannibal.
I travel from kc to Chicago frequently and I always stop at the big gas station down the street- my kids wanted Hardee's so while getting their food iI noticed this place and decided to give it a try- the guy at the counter was super cool and I was pleasantly surprised with the chicken dinner that came with a sweet potato and greenbeans for $14. Will make this a regular stop on my future drives

We walked in with my Service Dog & a guy yelled from the kitchen “No dogs, No dogs!” Education on the ADA regulations are needed here. We left right away & will not return.

Definitely the worst pulled pork I've ever had two stars instead of just one star because that's all I tried. Looked more like pot roast on a bun. Couldn't eat it. Left my entire $14 meal sitting on the table.
Actually after thinking about it I'm feeling robbed and changing it to one star. I've eaten barbecue all over the country. Mainly pulled pork sandwiches. $14 should get you something better than a completely soaked bottom bun with a hunk of pot roast looking meat on it that's cold. It wasn't even pulled it was chunked.
