“We are staying at the hotel by it and so far we have ate there both nights. We did take out so dont know much as far as dining in. But the food is very good. We had wings that were good and fried cheese wedges. But our favorite thing is the appetizer Do'jiggers its little small fried cutlets. they are so juicy and the breading is amazing. We ordered them both nights lol. We got a Caesar salad and it was very good and even came with a cheese bread stick. The staff that helped us at the bar take out area were so friendly and nice. Definitely recommend”

“A fun place. The homemade root beer alone is worth the trip! The food is old-fashioned Americana diner. I had the country fried steak, my husband had the catfish. Both were excellent, as were the sides.”

“They have very good food. It is not a buffet but order from a menu. The staff is always friendly and greets you when you walk in. My favorite is the chicken lo mein and egg drop soup. My husband loves their hot and sour soup. The parking can be a challenge as there is not a lot of space. The staff is very friendly and efficient.”

“We had great experience at The Brick Oven! We held a private party of 60 for my Aunt Lynn, we celebrated 62 years of her teaching dance. The manager, Tina, went above and beyond for this surprise! They are normally closed on Mondays but she had it staffed and opened it up for us! From decorating to Rearranging the tables for 30 of us to reunite to do a Flash Mob dance. The Drinks were flowing, the food was timed and served perfectly and it all tasted amazing. Thank you and your employees for all your hard work and help bringing this special occasion together for us!❤️”

“We are staying at the hotel by it and have went every day. I got a dirty soda (they had diet and even some sugar free syrups), we have gotten a peanut butter chocolate dipped cookie (haven't eaten yet but it looks delicious) and we have went for gelato two different times. Its the best i have ever had. Tomorrow we are gonna try the coffee :)”

You get one side with them so I choose the soup. It was chuckles broccoli cheddar. Sooooooo good!

“We were on a day trip and stopped and ate here, very good food. My wife had chicken salad & I had the shrimp po boy sandwich, fantastic meals. Our server Hannah was outstanding, professional, very nice, very accommodating. This place deserves at 100%+.”

“We have gotten take out here a few times when we have company visiting and havent had a bad experience. The staff is friendly, our food is always done within a reasonable amount of time and its always good. Could use a tad more spice to it but its still good. I appreciate that they throw in utensils and soy sauce but do wish we got more fortune cookies so I dont have to fight my kids for them !”

“Strongly recommend this restaurant!! I had the ribeye steak sandwich and it was delicious, as well as the Drake tails (curly fries with cheese and pulled pork)!! My Mom had the tenderloin (be hungry if you order or save for lunch or dinner the next day), my husband had the smoked pork steak and loved the flavor of the meat, and Dennis "PAPI" had the smoked brisket ( he had never had brisket before)! Sydney and her family gave us a fabulous end to our vacation!! We will absolutely be back!!! Back to Iowa for now!!”

“Took a cruise up HWY 79 from Elsberry to Hannibal to check out all the fall leaf foliage and stopped in for a late lunch and from Appetizers to the pizza we ordered was all very good and a fair price as well family friendly place definitely recommend”

“Today was my first visit and I will definitely return. They were so busy & the wait was pretty long. But I am super glad I decided to stay and not go somewhere else with less of a wait time. My chicken quesadilla was probably the best I’ve ever had. And that kale & apple salad was to die for! The price was worth bragging about also. I paid around $10 for my meal! Keep up the good work & I’ll see you again soon.”

“I know Hardee's in New Ulm MN has had some issues, but I went there today and was more than impressed! there were at least four people working there and they were so friendly and the food came really fast. it was fresh and hot and delicious! I can't wait to go there again, it looks like they have really pulled it together!”
