We just purchased over $50 in food. We have bought from there many times and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. NOT this time! We ordered General Tao chicken. No flavor, chicken was tough and hardly any sauce on the chicken. We also ordered chicken fried rice as a change. There was rice, a few pieces of pale chicken and a few pieces of what looked like onion. There wasn’t any egg, carrots, or peas like is normally found in that dish. The crab rangoon was over cooked also Needless to say after driving over 40 miles, spending over $50 we are not pleased and will never purchase from China King, Hannibal, Mo. USE THE SAME RECIPES AS THE PREVIOUS OWNERS!!

As a big fan of Chinese food their unique flavors that blend well with all.of their food the last 4 times I ordered the food was terrible .I Gave the benefit of doubt so ordered 3 separate times over 4 months. absolutely 0 flavor sauces were completely bland on every dish .And it happened since the place was took over with new owners. I mean I've never had Chinese food that was bad horrible

I don't know if they changed chefs but the food is very bland and oily now and it used to be full of flavor. It's a bit disappointing :( never had problems with China King until now

Order orange chicken and fried rice. The chicken was gooey and sauce less. The rice dry as dirt . Hadn't ate there for awhile used to be very good. This was awful. Won't be going back .

I usually have had no issues ordering from China King. However tonight I have to say it just did not measure up. I ordered 3 different meals and all 3 were EXTREMELY dry. There was absolutely no sauce on the meals. Not sure how they even cooked the chicken in my Black Pepper Chicken it was so hard and dry and tasteless. The noodles had absolutely no taste to them. The egg rolls were greasy. The Only thing half way decent from the whole meal was the Crab Rangoon.

Ordered take out at the register. It was AROUND 2:10 pm. When I brought the "food" home I ordered white rice, it was fried rice. The meat was inedible due to it was old and dried out to the point it was extremely hard. The rice tasted old. It was disgusting. I took one bite and threw away the rest. That is the second chance I gave them, hoping the first time it was awful was not a consistent thing. Well, it is, I will never attempt to eat there again. I know the place, location and approximate time. NOT A "MISTAKE"!

I have been eating lunch here a few times a month for the last couple of years and the food was always good. Went today and it was horrible. Nothing like the old owners food. Needless to say i wont be back.

Firstly, they overcharged me by assuming I ordered a quarter instead of a pint. I had just asked if I could get a smaller crab Rangoon, and was asked if I wanted a 4 pc instead of an 8 pc. I said yes and they put in the order for the quart. When I went back inside to retrieve the $3 they had overcharged me. The evil male overlord started chewing out the checkout girl in their foreign language.Furthermore, the LoMein smelled like hot garbage and was inedible.

I actually had the General TSO shrimp not chicken but similar recipe and omg it was edible and not so spicy I just threw it away like the last time I ordered it under the old management!! My husband had the Mongolian Beef and he preferred it to be spicier but said it was good. Now the big test was the Crab Rangoon now this is my favorite item when ordering Chinese or Cantonese food. The old management used a lot of honey in their mix and they were really sweet which some prefer but I don't. I like a more cream cheese crabby flavor and these didn't disappoint!! They were amazing best Rangoon in the Tri-State Area!!! I highly recommend the China King under new management!!
