Ribeye steak is the sandwich cut of meat. 3/8” thick and terribly cooked. Mine was raw. Fries undercooked, limp and greasy. “Side” salad was lettuce and lettuce. No nothing just lettuce. Nearly $40 for this garbage. AVOID

Don’t order a “Ribeye”. It’s the sandwich cuts and they still could cook it correctly. A side salad contains lettuce. ….and lettuce. Fries under cooked and limp with nasty dripping grease.

I’ve been to Drakes a few times (with 4 of us once & about 8 or more a couple of times) The service was great & they were so friendly there. We were seated immediately and drink orders taken. We needed a few minutes to decide what to get & all the times there, we ordered a lot of different things. The food came on time & was so good!!! Servers were very good & we left full & happy😊 I have recommended to lots of friends & family!!

Food is always delicious every time I come here. The smoked pork steak is amazing not to mention the beer battered onion rings. Service is also superb!

They were understaffed when we were there due to having a food truck at some event. Food was good and the staff worked hard to keep up with everyone.

Arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 . Was told there would be a short wait with two tables ahead of us. Came to take our order at 6:45 and were out of salmon. Asked for a moment to look at the menu and waited another fifteen minutes. Finally at 7:15 received a salad with the wrong dressing and items left off we had not requested being omitted. Meanwhile 3 tables who were seated after us received their food. At 8:00 we ask for a check and told the server we were leaving. She comped the salad. Whoopee, how generous after an hour and a half wait.

We visited Drakes on Friday evening, arriving around 5:00 p.m. The restaurant was not busy at all, and we were seated quickly. By the time we left around 6:00, it had started to fill up. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant dinner turned into one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had.
I started by ordering my favorite wine (listed on the menu), only to be told they had “run out.” I then ordered an iced tea. My husband’s beer arrived right away, but the server said she’d be right back with my tea. Ten minutes later, after watching her serve other tables, she finally seemed to notice she had forgotten it. When it did arrive, it was undrinkable — the worst tea I’ve ever tasted.
We placed our food orders promptly, and I requested that my side salad be brought out ahead of my meal. By 5:35, still no salad. When the server came by to say our entrées were nearly ready, I asked about it. She acted surprised and went to check. I watched her fuss with the order screen, clearly realizing it had been forgotten. A few minutes later she returned with an excuse about the dressing not being on the side, but it was obvious the salad had simply been overlooked. Once it arrived, it was fresh and tasty — but of course, our entrées followed almost immediately after.
The food itself was the highlight of the evening. I thoroughly enjoyed their BBQ pulled pork, and everything tasted delicious. However, the service continued to disappoint. Not once during the meal did our server check in to ask how everything was. As the restaurant grew busier, I began to worry about how long it would take to get the bill. I tried repeatedly to get her attention — she passed our booth five times without a glance. Twice she stopped at the table right beside us, and even when I called out to her, she ignored me. Eventually I had to sit at the edge of the booth and literally step into her path before she acknowledged me.
I’ve always loved Drakes for the food, but this experience makes me hesitant to return.

The food was good, I had the brisket sandwich and brisket was delicious but it was just bread and meat seemed a little bland. The onion rings were homemade and delicious! The service was good as well. The sticky floor in the bathroom wasn’t good and since we came for lunch the prices were a bit high. We would go back though.
