We went to Drakes Saturday night and all 7 of us LOVED our meals. Our waitress was super friendly and it was just a great night! We are making this a regular visit!

The food was good, nothing special. The brisket sandwich would be better on Texas toast, my opinion. The service started out good but went downhill quick. As we waited for the food, we looked around seeing most of the female servers half naked or wearing yoga pants that went straight up you know where. Another one had on short shorts almost showing what she had in her "front pocket." After the food was served our server didn't come back to see if anything was needed, I had to flag her down for bbq sauce. I put my food in a to-go box which I had to go ask for. Took over 7 minutes to get the ticket and pay. They were not busy. There was plenty of staff....half naked. I hope the owners require their employees to dress respectfully. The man I was with was very uncomfortable and kept putting his head down. Shame

Stopped in after not going for at least a year having high hopes. Started off with strawberry margarita, way too strong and didn’t taste strawberries in it. Wife ordered side salad and I got steak n ale chowder. Salad came, just leaf salad nothing else, no tomatoes no croutons, nothing. My chowder was ok not as good as I remember. Needless to say the rest of the meal went downhill from there. Pulled pork and steak we ordered were both a 1 star, sadly we’ll not visit again. Good luck

We arrived 3 servers talking at service window. 5 minutes later they decide to seat us. 10 minutes later we get our drinks.

There is a 6 top and one other 2 top in the entire place.

Place our order. 30 minutes later, we ask what's taking so long.

20 minutes later, food arrives.

The burger I ordered was dry to say the very least and was cool enough the cheese had a crust over it. It's the first time I've ever had a cheese burger that was tough. Fries might have been hot 20 minutes before delivery.

The other meal, the tenderloin, was overcooked and cold as were the fries.

Having 3 servers and 3 tables at 6pm on a Friday and still having cold overcooked food delivered shouldn't be acceptable.

After speaking to who we were told was the '"manager", who obviously wasn't just the extra server pretending. We were told "that's just how we do it here".

Immediately after, after seeing we hadn't eaten more than a bite of each meal our ticket arrived at full price.

There's a reason you had 3 tables at 6pm.

Nice hidden location and atmosphere but the service was slow and the portions were small for the cost. The jalapeño poppers were about the saddest looking appetizer I have ever purchased at a restaurant.

Great food at reasonable prices, I will continue to patronize this place. Tenderloin was cooked to perfect crisp!

Set 5 of us in a booth asked for a table. It was 2 P.M. hardly in one in there. Wouldn't give us a table. Asked for the sampler platter they said they wasn't serving them today but you could order all the appetizers separate. Took forever for the waitress to even come and get our orders. I WILL NEVER COME BACK!! I WAS READY TO LEAVE BEFORE WE ORDERED!! When we did get our food my daughters had hair in it. The tenderloin was paper thing NASTY, TOUGH, burnt and ALL GRISSEL. Waist of $71.00 and our time going there. McDonald's would have better. If you go there get a side salad maybe they won't mess that up!!!

Update: prices are good; service is excellent, and rhe building is great. We tried the fried fish, which was fair and more breading than fish. The toast was great. The chili was flavorful but has a little corn in it wirh beans and meat, not too spicy. The baked beans are amazing! Coleslaw is fair, very creamy but not enough flavor. The side salad was nice with greens instead of lettuce.

CLOSED! We showed up at 11 on a Saturday.
By the time we got to the door, a woman in a car showed up to tell us they were closed and to run us off. The website and Google both list the hours and that it is still open.

We throughly enjoyed our experience. Service was phenomenal. Quick greet, knew the menu, made suggestions, answered questions. Checked back often, refills, to go boxes, quick return with payment after we put our CC down. Invited us to return. Will 100% be back. Kitchen staff was on point too!
