went here today with a group..the food was fantastic and the waiter was amazing! he kept our drinks full, chips and salsa full, and was super friendly. this was my first time here and I will be back. food was great and a large portion!!

I'm gonna start by saying my settings for Facebook require people search my name to find me. I blocked this guy before anyone suggests it. Also, my signature is illegible, so it wasn't that part that gave him my name. I went and tried this restaurant the other night since I hadn't heard anything bad. It was awful. The food was absolutely awful to the point that we stopped trying to eat it. No flavor, bad texture, and not hot at all. We were the only two customers in the building though, so I chose to pay for the meals (card), tip included, box up our very unfinished food, and leave. The food went straight to the trash.
I woke up to stomach cramps from hell a few hpurs later. That lasted well over 24 hours as I spent my day living on the toilet. I would have assumed it could have been anything i ate, except for the fact that it was the only food I had in common with my friend and she was going through it too. It was not a good time. I woke up the next morning to a friend request from Manny Lopez. This man had to search my name which meant he used my credit card receipt to know my name to look me up.
If you plan on giving that place a try, don't. If you do it anyway, make sure you have a couple of days off. And definitely don't pay with a card unless you want him to look you up.
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.

We were so impressed by this place. The food and service was excellent. The pico was some of the most tasty I've had, and the Special Jalisco was really a very savory delight. Pricing was super reasonable, and the speed of our food coming to our table was even quicker than we could have expected. They had a sign on the door saying they didn't have alcohol, but that wasn't a problem for us. We suspect they will have their license very soon. We will definitely be going back to our new favorite Mexican restaurant when we come back to Hannibal.

My husband and I ate here today. The service and food were both great & quick. We had the birria tacos and we were plenty full. My husband loves when food is presented nicely vs just thrown together and this is the first place in a long time that impressed him. You get a good amount of food for the price you pay. We left very full. Overall great experience!

El Jalisco is one of my favorite restaurants. it is very clean. Great ambiance. Staff are friendly and efficient. the food is fabulous. Great menu.

The smallest chimichanga.... should've called it a taquito instead . For the price , you expect better. Daughter ordered a mushroom quesedilla.... greasy , could not pick it up . Not many mushrooms at all .... counted 4 , seriously . The other dishes that were ordered at our table were heated in the microwave . Not an even temperature, spots were cold while other spots were on fire . Service was mediocre. Had to ask for refills . Waitress had trouble looking at us when she spoke , no personality . Overall , not a welcoming atmosphere compared to other Mexican restaurants. Won't go back.

We were glad the Chinese place across the street was closed, because we tried this. Enchiladas Don Pueblo and Chilequilles were fantastic!
