I was forced to tip while ordering at the counter, and they didn't bring my food. What really bothered me was that my sandwich wasn't really cooked, I will post the pictures. It's a good thing nobody checked on me because I was mad and quite disappointed. I paid a lot of money for the food that I didn't order or receive while sitting down. Ask for a tip if service is provided.
On a total whim, driving through Hannibal, we decided to stop for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. We stumbled onto this gem of a place! Baked goods (the chocolate chip cookies were fantastic), ice cream, a menu full of delicious sandwiches and cafe items.. not to mention all of the kick knacks and toys their gift shop area has to offer. The place is also in a historic building, which adds to its charm. The food was excellent, all the staff was helpful and smiling. Will definitely...
Great coffee. The pastries are made in site. The lemon- blueberry cream cheese bar was delicious. Perfect balance of cream cheese lemon curd and blueberries. We also had the tiramisu and the chocolate espresso cheesecake. They were also delicious! They also had a great variety of books for all ages and local pottery.
