My wife and I both ordered brisket. And I know I'm going to sound like like I'm full of myself, but I'm from KC, and I'm familiar with good brisket. This had a great smoke ring, but almost no smoke flavor. And it was just shy of fork tender. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't phenomenal. The hash brown casserole and mac n cheese sides were good.

Amazing food! My family arrived towards the end of the day when they were running out of certain things but even so they did not disappoint. The staff was supper apologetic for not having what we ordered and were completely accommodating. Delicious food and even better service!

An important note - some sites will tell you this place is on Lindell. That is its previous location (as a food truck). They are now located in Friendship Brewery on Main St in downtown Hannibal. We looked and looked for it on Lindell ??♀️. Trust me - it’s not there.Definitely worth the challenge of finding it. I had smoked turkey, boyfriend had brisket and we shared three sides (Mac & cheese, beans, and potato salad). Everything tasted homemade- absolutely delish. Brisket was good,tender. My turkey sandwich was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. We will be back!

This is hands down the best bbq in this area!!!The brisket and pulled pork is prob the best I've ever had in Missouri...There is not one thing on their menu that's bad. I lived in KC for about 6 years and this place beats all their bbq..Great food and great service.... So make sure you stop by if you're in the Hannibal area..
Clean, inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and plenty of options. Looking forward to making this a regular dining experience.

I heard a new BBQ place opened in the old brewery. Tried it for the first time. I will Definitely be back. The Brisket was the best tasting & most tender I’ve ever had & the sides were awesome . Will definitely be trying everything else. Really cool place!

We ate at sidekicks around 6 PM, and there was no wait. Ordered and picked up our food at the counter and a young man cleared our table when we finished. We shared a delicious brisket meal. The brisket was tender and plentiful and the baked beans and potato salad were delicious.The first time I tried to order food at Sidekicks I could not get through the line. I came in through the side door, and the directions were not clear as to where the line started. I waited for a while they took the order of the person ahead of me, and filled it, but because we were traveling I did not feel like I could stay any longer waiting to order.This time we stopped to dine in, and it was very quiet. I would certainly go back again.
