Burnt pizza. Inattentive waitress. Didn't give back correct change.
Fantastic food! Stopped here after visiting the cave. We got a Lg. Ham & Mushroom with Artichokes and a Small Cajun Pizza. Highly recommend both! If we were closer this would be a regular restaurant to visit!

The Brick Oven offers delicious food in a clean and organized setting. Known for its house-made, hand-tossed pizza dough, the restaurant boasts an impressive wine list for a small town. The menu features popular items like the "brick" pizza, garlic pizza, bruschetta, and cheesecake with generous toppings. Recommended items include the Texas toast cheese bread with marinara sauce, which is a hit, and the brick oven bread appetizer that is soft, spiced, and melting in the mouth. Many find the homemade quality of the food a pleasant surprise, especially for passing travelers. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, providing a great experience from start to finish, although service can sometimes feel a bit rushed. The restaurant is a favorite for those craving pizza and appetizers, with the pizza often highlighted as exceptional. It is especially convenient for travelers staying nearby. While parking may be challenging due to its downtown location, the quality and flavors make the slightly higher prices worth every penny. Customers have enjoyed various dishes like chicken parmesan, baked penne, and spaghetti and meatballs, all praised for their large portions and great taste.
