Stopped in on our travels north for a quick bite - very pleased!! My veggie hummus wrap was delicious. My daughter had a Sunrise Sunset smoothie and said it was great. My son had a Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich and thought it was excellent. All was prepared quickly. Thank you, Tropical Smoothie Café, for providing healthy food options and pleasant service on our trip! 🌯🥛🥭☀️🍋

This place is absolutely disturbing to go in and eat at. Me and my family decide to stop and dine in to eat. NEVER AGAIN. The manger was yelling at the employees because they weren't doing something right. I personally think that's not how anyone should talk to their employees instead of yelling at them help them out. Shame on whoever the owner is that hire this manger because these employees working their butts off and get yelled at.

Well the cashier seemed very in a rush to even give proper customer service. The lobby was a mess.. and wat the issue is isn’t the staff, there working very hard and you can see that in the food and smoothies. It’s management neglecting to do what would be needed by hiring more help.
I ordered a salad and my daughter and mom ordered wraps. I ordered a water, which was brought to our table right away. The waiter told us that our food and drinks would also be brought to the table. My daughter and mom had ordered a soda and tea. We sat at a table and waited for our food. And waited. And waited. We thought maybe we heard them call our name, but there was no food ready at the side counter where you pick up dine-in orders. We waited some more since we thought maybe it was just taking a while to prep the salad. Finally, I approached one of the staff and asked about our food. They assumed the order was for pickup, and put it on a shelf to go. I asked why they did that since we were here at the table very obviously waiting for food. I was blamed for this problem because we didn't hear our name called. I said fine, but could we please get the two other drinks we ordered? I picked up our (now cold) food from the pickup shelf. Lo and behold, they gave me a wrap instead of a salad, so now I asked them to make my salad. Again the woman said she called our name and it was my fault for not hearing. I said, "surely you saw us waiting at the table, and you didn't think to check on us?" They finally brought my salad, but we still didn't have our other drinks. I had to ask for those again. I asked how they were going to make this up to us and again, we were blamed that we didn't hear them call our name. I asked to speak to the manager and then wrote down my info to receive a call about our experience.
So instead of saying, "I'm so sorry for the delay and the mistakes that we made, here's a smoothie on us", we received, "it's your fault".
This is typically my go-to spot on my drive from St Louis to Iowa, which I do often, but I won't be back after this treatment. I suggest you find another restaurant as well.
Abby S showed a lot of professionalism with all of the customers i seen her help. Its hard now a days to find young people who value there job. Abby seemed to be an excellent employee and because of the way she treated me, I will be purchasing another smoothie there!

I enjoy going to get a strawberry and banana smoothie once a week. Abby S. always has a smile on her face a great attitude. I love seeing her when I come in. Will be back to my local tropical smoothie.
