Wow. Just the right tenderness (meat stays on the bone when I want it to, slides right off when I'm ready for it!), flavorful, just the right amount of smokey flavor.

Didn't try anything else, but definitely 5 stars for the ribs!

“I cannot say enough about Chris Kurzweil and Kurzweil's Country Meats. My kids wedding day was absolutely incredible and the food was fantastic. The people attending from all over asked us over and over about who catered the food. I highly recommend them and give it 10⭐️ Give them a call if you need a great caterer. The whole hog is unbeatable”

“6/27/25 went there for supper. waiter had no personality, our food was nasty and was cold when served to us. Best part of the meal was the chips, salsa, cheese sauce and guacamole. Waited for ever to get the bill, finally got his attention and had to ask him for it. Can not recommend this place to anyone.”

“The young person over the phone when I ordered was not knowledgeable on the sizes / servings per pizza that are offered. Maybe they were new, but the overall feel of my experience was that management was lacking and that teenagers were left in charge. My pizza was great though!”

“My husband and I recently ate at Apple Barrel Restaurant in Harrisonville, Missouri, and we had such a great experience.

We started with the Cowboy Corn Nuggets, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, sweet and flavorful on the inside. They were the perfect way to kick off the meal.

My husband ordered the meatloaf with mushrooms and onions and really enjoyed it. It was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you order comfort food.

I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and hashbrowns, and I can honestly say they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. They were fluffy, full of blueberries, and cooked just right. Everything on my plate was hot and fresh.

It happened to be a very busy day, and they only had one waiter working the floor. Even so, he did an excellent job keeping up with everyone. He was attentive, kept our glasses full, and maintained a great attitude the whole time. It was also nice to see customers being patient and understanding while he worked hard to take care of everyone.

The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly, and the overall experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back.”

“Stopped by this afternoon with a friend to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. The inside is so unique, the coffee was delicious, but the real treat was Dalton. While waiting for a salad my friend asked Dalton for some tricks and tips with making latte art as she makes her own lattes at home and has been experimenting. He asked her what type of machine she was using and then went into detail about how to use the steamer properly, how long to steam the milk depending on the type of milk you’re using, and then he whips out a fresh shot, steams some milk, and then shows us how he does it! If you’re in the area or just passing through this is definitely the spot to go!”

“Went up there today to try it out and definitely wasn’t disappointed! My husband had the Italian sandwich and I had a turkey and cheese. Both sandwiches were excellent. We ordered coffee as well, and it was very good! Definitely will be supporting this small business bakery!”

“I always love eating here. Ive never been disappointed in the food, I always get the plain fried rice with my meal, its so good. Great service, intuitive, and fast. Its like they know what i need sometimes even before I do. Theyre homemade hot mustard is go stingy good
