Food was excellent!

My husband and I recently ate at Apple Barrel Restaurant in Harrisonville, Missouri, and we had such a great experience.

We started with the Cowboy Corn Nuggets, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, sweet and flavorful on the inside. They were the perfect way to kick off the meal.

My husband ordered the meatloaf with mushrooms and onions and really enjoyed it. It was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you order comfort food.

I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and hashbrowns, and I can honestly say they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. They were fluffy, full of blueberries, and cooked just right. Everything on my plate was hot and fresh.

It happened to be a very busy day, and they only had one waiter working the floor. Even so, he did an excellent job keeping up with everyone. He was attentive, kept our glasses full, and maintained a great attitude the whole time. It was also nice to see customers being patient and understanding while he worked hard to take care of everyone.

The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly, and the overall experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Was there for Sap Bros gas, so don't know about food. Gave it stars since it was full of folks.

It was okay, my parents enjoy going here frequently.

Honestly just not good tasting food... I've eaten at a few Apple Barrel restaurants and for some reason I keep hoping the experience will change with a different location. I had the waffle with sausage links... Links were ok but the waffle had a strong baking soda/powder flavor and the liquid butter they poured on it was foul flavored... Syrup couldn't fix it. My husband's omelette was pretty good but his hash browns were ice cold and sour tasting. Unimpressed.

This place is surprisingly good for being a resteraunt inside a gas station. I ordered the breakfast sirloin platter, and it honestly was pretty good. The sirloin steak was seasoned well, and cooked in the way I had requested (medium). The potatoes, eggs, and toast were good as well.

So.e of the best breakfast you will find in the area, hands down! Had the country fried steak and eggs, steak was tender and lightly breaded perfectly. Staff was great and very attentive. Took the whole family and we will definitely be coming back.

I brought my 90 year old Mom here twice, both times the food was amazing. We have been to a lot of different places, this is by far the best ever. My mom was so cute, she took a bite of her English muffins. She said it was amazing, never ever had one this good. The rest of her meal was cooked perfect that cook deserves a raise. It's a little bit of a drive we will be back.
There was only one waitress and it started getting busy. She handled it super good. Our service was perfect I didn't get her name. 11-4-25 5:00PM let her know thank you.

It's also a truck stop, the bathrooms are exceptional. Individual rooms so great!!!
