An amazing gem in a quaint little Missouri town! We had an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. We split them all, just so we could try them. The crab Rangoon dip was especially excellent.
Incredible food-artfully prepared-, warm friendly staff, tasteful ambience. The perfect end to a long day cycling the trail. We were hungry and exhausted. The Grand was a welcome respite in more ways than one. My husband and I ordered a refreshing salad, followed by an entree of lamb with mushroom sauce, amazing mashed potatoes, asparagus, completed by icecream-topped berry crisp. We decided to go on a 21 mile bike ride from Jefferson City to Hartsburg and back. When we got to Hartsburg after biking almost 11 miles we were welcomed with great hospitality of the owner, Jill, of Hartsburg Grand although she wouldn't be opening until 5 and it was 2:15.
