An amazing gem in a quaint little Missouri town! We had an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. We split them all, just so we could try them. The crab Rangoon dip was especially excellent.

Incredible food-artfully prepared-, warm friendly staff, tasteful ambience. The perfect end to a long day cycling the trail. We were hungry and exhausted. The Grand was a welcome respite in more ways than one. My husband and I ordered a refreshing salad, followed by an entree of lamb with mushroom sauce, amazing mashed potatoes, asparagus, completed by icecream-topped berry crisp. But the pièces de résistance was piping-hot bananas foster flambe-they set it on fire in front of you!-over a chilled glass of vanilla icecream. A perfect finish!

Tried this place 3 times, bad experience each time. The 1st time was a busy night, they seated us on the porch. We ordered and it took 2 hours to get our food, no apologies, consideration, nothing. Food wasn't bad. The 2nd time we had reservations for 6, place wasn't very busy. Took an hour to receive our food, all EXCEPT my wife's! Waitress didn't even notice and we could not seem to get her attention for 15-20 minutes. Then she asked if my wife didn't want to order, got that straight then they could not "find the order"! Unbelievable! Rushed my wife something and comped her a dessert. Weak! Food was not as good as the first time. The 3rd time was lunch. Only a couple of tables were occupied when we ordered. Three more tables were occupied shortly thereafter. 1 hour later everyone in the place was served, including the 3 tables that arrived after us...EXCEPT us! The waitress kept apologizing. Finally we received our food, it was lukewarm and not very good. The cook came out and helped herself to a beer behind the bar. I cannot believe that number of tables could take so much time in the kitchen... We desperately wanted this cute place to succeed, however; they are doing their best to make sure we never come back.
