Food needs seasoning, the patty melt was hearty but the beef was bland, the fried pork tender loin was ok, green beans needed some onion garlic salt and pepper.... maybe not be canned. But captive audience i suppose.

Salad bar was decent, all you can eat cashew chicken buffet was OK. Prices seemed a little high but not many options in such a small town.

Food was good but service was pitiful. Waitress ran my coffee cup over and I had about 1/2 cup on the table. She did not apologize or offer to clean it up. I left a tip but regretted it later. I doubt I will go back.

Food was good but service for our breakfast on July 6, 2022 was nothing to brag about.... waitress did not bring a single refill on coffee, I had to go up bring my cup and ask for one. Did not give me ones out of my change to leave a tip so she got a $5 tip.because we always tip..she didn't deserve one...no thank from her at all. We will never go back.

Yesterday we had lunch at the Hartville Family Cafe. The food was delicious. The food was cooked to perfection. The portion size was perfect. The fried Chicken buffet was so good. We've went in there from time to time n always very good service and great food. The new owner has completely turned this place around. I highly recommend you trying this place.
We had the pleasure of going into the Hartville Family Cafe several time this past weekend. It was packed full every time we went in. The staff handle the place being packed very well. Our food came out very fast and was perfection. We had a big group and our whole group love our food. This place is down right good.

My family and I love coming and eating at this place. We love all the food they have the best cooks. They are top notch. Big, little or skinny they are all awesome. Off the chart. Amazing group of people working there and great food. It feels like home there. The staff seem like family to us. If you get a chance try the sour cream french fries. They are top notch!!!!!!!!

We stopped by this place this weekend and grab some amazing food. We've been in there from time to time in the service wasn't great, but, we heard it has a new owner. YOU can sure tell. We've noticed its hard to find good help at restaurants on the weekends no one wants to work anymore an if they do its the easy shifts that get filled quickly. The new owner has turned this place completely around. Great food and Great staff. Try this place you will love it!!!!

Honest review here since someone seems to keep writing reviews about this place under different names, but basically saying the same things and tend to use to the word “top notch” an awful lot in several of the reviews. So obviously same person & honestly sounds like someone just trying to cause drama. Sad adults have to act that way & bring it into the business. I personally, won’t be back in there to eat. So, I’m going to leave my REAL NAME AND HONEST REVIEW OF THIS PLACE!!This place is a decent place to eat. But it does occasionally lack on the waiter/waitress end sometimes. Several times my drink hasn’t been refilled when needed, or checked on but maybe once after food is brought. But then again sometimes whoever is there is there checking in on you often. As for the cooks, for the most part they’re all okay. The lady cook (yes, I know her name but don’t see why I need to say it) has improved since she first started. Hopefully she continues to strive to improve herself. As being in the food industry, there is always room for improvement.As for only 4 star review, I will so judge a place on their sweet tea with no bones about it & honestly on most occasions when I visit, it needs improvement. I want tea, nice and dark, not lightly colored sugar water.

Wow this Cafe is off the charts good. We went there a few days ago on a friday. They had a all you can eat Catfish Buffer and it was amazing. We found out the buffet starts at 11 n goes until 8 at night. This fish is the best fish we had ever eaten. All the staff was awesome. Great people and great food.
