“This is the best tasting Mexican food I've ever had, but it is a little more expensive then other places, but it is well worth it, and they have large servings. The Polo Con Espenacas and the Mexican Fajitas are the best!”
“Just like old-fashioned country cooking. Open faced pot roast sandwich was truly pot roast, not sliced, store bought beef. Real mashed potatoes, and, desert was homemade as well. Excellent! We found it (on the internet) passing through. Our best restaurant find in a while.Parking: Lot right out in frontKid-friendliness: Family friendly”
“I’m recommending because this place has pizza similar to New York style pizza which is my favorite, also the owner is a fellow Steelers fan. Tonight we were a little disappointed by the service we received as we witnessed one of the servers tell 4 senior citizens that they weren’t allowed to sit at a table top for 6 people and they were moved to another table (4top). They eventually walked out. There was only an hour left until closing and no parties of 6 ever came in. Our server was nice but when my husband asked for a refill on his iced tea there was no ice. We brought my son and his wife for the first time as they are new to area but this visit left a bad impression on them. I wanted to send a private message but your fb page doesn’t give that option.”
“My husband and I absolutely love Kathy's Kitchen. When we first came to the area to look at houses we stopped in and had lunch. We immediately felt at home, the staff was friendly, the food was good, the prices are extremely fair, and the portions are nothing to sneeze at. We moved from Colorado and this has become a favorite place for us. They have lots of parking, and always have a smile for you. PLUS Kathy's pies are amazing!”
“Very small and friendly, privately owned business. Great service, friendly owner, and caters to kids. There's also a monthly music jam, which is a popular part of South Missouri culture.Vegetarian options: They have a liw-carb vegetarian bowl, and a cauliflower crust vegetarian pizza.Parking: There are a few parking spaces directly in front and a large gravel parking lot directly across the street.Kid-friendliness: The owner loves kids and welcomes birthday parties. There's fresh, inexpensive hand-dipped ice cream.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is at ground level, and the door is plenty wide enough for a wheel chair, though the single guest bathroom is small and may not accommodate a wheel chair inside the bathroom.”
“I'm not sure what Mexican influence this style of food was, definitely different than what we are used to. I felt like the ground beef in conjunction with the sauce tasted just like spaghetti meat sauce. I had a spaghetti burrito, a spaghetti enchilada, and a spaghetti taco. The salsa was good but the chips tasted like something might have been burned in the oil they were fried in (or the oil was just getting old).”
“The girls that work at this location throw down some good sandwiches for sure. But dint expect to get gas here if you drive anything other than a small car, not truck friendly!”
“Pepperoni Pizza was delicious. Made even better with meatballs on top. Which i sliced myself. Wow!!Brand new inside. Everything seems to be new. So glad i decided to give it a try. They also have a Kristpy Chicken Restaurant that looks good too. Small truckstop but definitely worth coming through. It's definitely an Oasis in this part of Missouri. Staff was super friendly too. Totally worth stopping by.”
“Sandy’s place is an excellent example of good food in a small town. Almost a hidden gem of the ozarks. The restaurant decor is lovely and rustic. The menu all looks delicious. Panini’s are beyond delicious and the chicken pesto flatbread was everything I could want and more. I was able to enjoy some decadent baked goods and an oat milk latte. Service was fantastic both visits.I will be making the trip again.Dietary restrictions: Alpha gal and vegetarian options available.”
