Lunch today at R&R. First time eating there but we have followed them since they started up, (we live 50 miles the wrong direction). It will now be a pretty regular drive however. I had the lunch special smoked chicken plate with fried potatoes and baked beans. Chicken was just kissed with smoke and tender and juicy. Potatoes were cut small, perfectly seasoned and done just right. Baked beans very tasty too. Wife had the 1/2 order nachos with smoked chicken. It was amazing too with lots of toppings and unless you're a really big eater order the small. Prices are extremely reasonable and portions are large. Oh, and, taxes are included on all prices! Owners are super friendly and we love all the things they do for the local community. I hope Hartville is aware how valuable these folks are. We certainly wish we had a place like this closer to home.
Such friendly staff especially the owner Mindy. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich.

From the moment you step in to R&R you are greeted by an atmosphere that is friendly and inviting. The food is great and the staff is gracious about accommodating whenever possible special requests for diabetics (veggies instead of baked beans as a side) and alpha gal or gluten allergy sufferers. Money is always a consideration when dinning out and the owners of R&R work to keep things affordable for their guests. Most meals are $10 or less! I love the Granny Pa sandwich (I have to do a half size because it's huge!), the taco salad (also a half size!), and I like to special order my chicken salad on toasted white bread instead of the fancy croissant! It's not just the food and atmosphere that makes this place special. R&R is also a huge community supporter. They've hosted a giving cubby to provide coats and blankets to those in need, have organized free meals for those in need, not to mention the countless school organizations and projects they've supported. This family business is community centered and I love being able to support them by eating there.
Really a nice place to eat!

Just a few miles north of Mansfield, Missouri, nestled in a small sleepy countryside town called Hartville. You will find a small roadside dinner called R&R Clubhouse that is owned and operated by an Air Force veteran and family. I had the privilege of talking with the Huffmans over a delicious bowl of Gumbo. The menu is unceasingly changed weekly to provide a variety of amazing meals that do not break the bank. The store is in an older building that has plenty of seating, and a warm, open atmosphere. If you are passing through on US-60, may I suggest a diversion up to Hartville, MO for a good hot meal and a bit of conversation. And if you do swing by. Tell them Norm says hi!
Parking: Road side parking with a parking lot within a very brief walking distance from the entrance.
Kid-friendliness: Most definitely family friendly.
Very friendly and the food was amazing I will definitely be going back and recommend anyone to try it out...

We ate here today for the first time. The atmosphere was awesome. My son and his friend loved the games upstairs and the food was super awesome. The prices are all very affordable and the owners are super nice. We will definitely return!
Kid-friendliness: There are video games and other games (like Jenga, etc) in the room upstairs. There is also seating up there. My 15-year-old son and his friend had a blast. We stayed there for more than 2 hours.

Great atmosphere and super service. The special included beef stroganoff, salad, bread, and a drink all for $10.00! We'll be back!
