Kasabi Hazelwood Hibachi, Sushi, and Ramen

Did carry out. Hibachi steak. Steak was rare as requested and very tender and delicious. Fried rice was also very good. Highly recommend!

They’re always friendly here. The food is fresh and tasty. We recommend the beef shoyu ramen, honey dew boba tea, and rock & roll sushi.

Very good place to sit down for a meal, cute decor, clean, and welcoming. The service was exceptional and the Deep Fried Sushi Roll might be the best sushi I've ever had. Tried the chicken miso ramen and it was very good. Wait time for our food was minimal, food was hot and fresh with a nice presentation.

This place is truly a hidden gem and has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the STL area. I’ve dined here 4-5 times now, and each experience has been consistently wonderful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need for a great dining experience.

Let’s start with the sushi—absolutely phenomenal! Their Volcano Roll is a must-try. It’s beautifully presented and packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients that practically melt in your mouth. The flavors are balanced and unique, making it one of the best sushi rolls I’ve had anywhere. For sushi lovers, the menu is extensive, offering a variety of rolls and sashimi that cater to both adventurous eaters and those who prefer more traditional options.

The hibachi menu is equally impressive. This time, I decided to go for the shrimp and chicken combo, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp were nice sized, flavorful, and succulent. Even though the hibachi dishes aren’t cooked tableside, you can tell the chefs take great care in their preparation, as everything comes out hot and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous and presented beautifully.

Overall, whether you’re looking for a great sushi spot or a delicious hibachi meal without the tableside show, this restaurant delivers not only on taste but also on service and atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone in the STL area or passing through!

Ate here 10/5/24 for birthday dinner party. The menu had lots of choices and an amazing selection of sushi, delicious and works of art.
Beautiful presentation. Average prices. Hibachi meals great serving size. Quiet, so conversation was good, even the HOH.
