Kasabi Hazelwood Hibachi, Sushi, and Ramen

ordered various pieces of nigiri via takeout and i really wish it had been better, but this was the most disappointing sushi i've had. not sure if it was just an off night for them, but the fish quality left a lot to be desired; it tasted like nothing (specifically the sake), didn't have great texture, and had some discoloration. the wasabi also had 0 effect on me/taste which is a first, i don't even know how you accomplish having tasteless wasabi (even if it's actually horseradish, i've never had wasabi that tasted like nothing). also while the pieces looked large, they ended up being more rice than fish. the side of noodles was the only thing that had some flavor. unfortunately it's hard justifying ordering from here again when the dierbergs sushi counter is more quality.

Obsessed with the Hazelwood Roll! They continually have great food & service! Dining in & picking up have both been great experiences!
Knowledgeable & caring for those with Celiac disease! They always put my stuff separately & include gluten free soy sauce!! Such sweethearts!!!

We had to wait for our food for an hour, was told about 30 mins because they were so busy. My steak Hibachi was not good, the meat was partially raw and to tough to chew. Sushi and Ramen were good. Willing to give them another try. This was my second time there and tried it again because it was good the 1st time.

The food and service were fabulous! Good sushi, fried rice and ramen. It’s not very easy to locate and there’s no sign outside…kind of a hole in the wall or mom n pop type of vibe. We enjoyed it very much.

First time eating here, and it was a very pleasant experience. Our server was wonderful, a young lady who was very attentive and helpful, with it being our initial time trying this restaurant. Had a salmon sushi plate, a chicken & vegetable dish served over noodles that was very good and we also shared a Red Samurai (Tuna) dish that was excellent. Will be going back to this location very soon. Thank you.

First visit to Kasabi. Food and service were great. I had the seafood ramen and it was excellent. My wife had the combo dinner with shrimp & scallops and noodles, delicious. We also ordered a gear 4th roll to share. Very fresh and tasty. Overall great experience.

Genuinely do not skip getting an appetizer, but also get the Ichiraku Ramen and add a bit of their chili oil! SO GOOD. It also has such a peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect for solo dates!

nice little tucked away japanese place, worth the money everytime i go. the sushi and hibachi are good, & they have some of the best ramen you can find in the city, i usually get tonkotsu. the workers and the server are all really nice, and they’ve even left the door open a couple minutes after hours once when i was calling it close ordering pick up. inside isn’t much of a wait either if thats what you like. never had any issues with hygeine or cleanliness either
