First time visiting Hermann. This was place is definitely a hidden gem. It was truly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back soon.
My husband and I tried Ainsley’s Place for brunch and it was amazing. Great service, great food, highly recommend!!
We recently had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Ainsley's Place. We were warned of a 45 minute wait to be seated but told it would be worth it . Boy, was it ever! Our server Jake was so helpful, personable and friendly. His enthusiasm for the restaurant and the menu items was evident from the very beginning and helped to make our dining experience 5 Stars! We were happy we took his suggestions and tried the Special for the Day (a breakfast sandwich loaded with sausage, bacon cheese and egg with garlic aioli sauce along with breakfast potatoes) along with the Aebleskivers ( a totally new pancake experience! They were light and fluffy little balls with a slightly crunchy exterior and served with a drizzle of raspberry syrup, eggs and sausage). Truly delicious! While our primary contact was with Jake, we would be remiss if we failed to note the friendliness and kindness of the rest of the staff! It was evident to us that they enjoyed meeting customers and doing everything they could to make our experience such a great one! If you're visiting Hermann and don't take the opportunity to eat at Ainsley's Place, you're missing out!

Wonderful service and came for an exclusive dinner meal that was terrific! We split the meal and enjoyed a strawberry desert. Had chicken with risotto rice and mushrooms. Perfect meal after a day of drinking wine all day!

A hidden gem in Hermann.
We stumbled on this place for a sample dinner they were trying out (they typically don’t serve dinner) and I had the Cioppino. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the sauce/broth was flavorful and had plenty of heat. Everyone else’s dishes were equally stellar.
We returned for brunch the next morning and it did not disappoint. From the fresh coffee to the secret family recipe for ebelskivers to the veggie hash, it was all perfectly made and delicious.
Highly recommend. It’s a small family restaurant so you may encounter a long wait. It’s worth it. Trust me. ?

We went on a Monday morning, luckily, as I read it is very busy on weekends. We had the Pancake balls as an appetizer, fantastic. Husband got the Eggs Benedict, and all we can say is-- the poached eggs were the prettiest eggs we have seen , cooked to protection. Shrimp and Grits are awesome and enough to serve 2.

The food was amazing! They were very accommodating for gluten-free options. Their gluten-free apple French toast was the best I've ever had...so good! My friends who aren't gluten-free also loved their food ? This place is for sure a stop if you're in Hermann. Rey and the rest of the Ainsley crew were super friendly and helpful. Thank you all! Definitely 10/10!?

Best food we had in Hermann. Our group ordered a handful of different dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the presentation, quality, and flavor. Cannot recommend this place enough and will be stopping next time we're out there.
Highly recommend getting there before they open or plan to be on a wait list. Plenty of nearby shops to help pass the wait though.

What a shame! We loved our server, Rae, but had a terrible experience with one of the managers. Three of us ordered avocado toast and it was the ONLY one I've ever had that was super spicy! I would never have expected that and can't eat spicy food for health reasons. The way the manager handled it was appalling. She was very rude and said I would have to pay for it regardless. I ordered some other sides hoping I would get some food while my friends were still eating, only to find out afterward that the manager would have substituted another meal for the same price (which I would have done had I known!) But nobody shared that detail. It ruined the experience which was a shame because it started out great with our wonderful server. She felt terrible and was put in a very awkward situation. The manager said they lose money on it, which I understand but that's the cost of running a business. Plus, they had PLENTY of business and that is what you call customer service! You want your customers to have a good experience! Nowhere on the menu did it say anything about being spicy. The other girls who ordered it agreed even to them it was spicy and didn't even think it was very good.

Service was great… breakfast was delicious. And I’m still talking about those amazing hash browns! Passed thru Hermann and decided to stop and grab a bite. After walking the main drag and not impressed with our choices, we ventured a few blocks and found this gem. So glad we did!
Best food we had in Hermann. Definitely try the pretzels with cheese. That’s some legit house cheese. Reuben and potato salad were also on point.
