“We recently had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Ainsley's Place. We were warned of a 45 minute wait to be seated but told it would be worth it . Boy, was it ever! Our server Jake was so helpful, personable and friendly. His enthusiasm for the restaurant and the menu items was evident from the very beginning and helped to make our dining experience 5 Stars! We were happy we took his suggestions and tried the Special for the Day (a breakfast sandwich loaded with sausage, bacon cheese and egg with garlic aioli sauce along with breakfast potatoes) along with the Aebleskivers ( a totally new pancake experience! They were light and fluffy little balls with a slightly crunchy exterior and served with a drizzle of raspberry syrup, eggs and sausage). Truly delicious! While our primary contact was with Jake, we would be remiss if we failed to note the friendliness and kindness of the rest of the staff! It was evident to us that they enjoyed meeting customers and doing everything they could to make our experience such a great one! If you're visiting Hermann and don't take the opportunity to eat at Ainsley's Place, you're missing out!”

“The Cajun Brat was the best ever! Lively without being too spicy, the bun was crisp without being dry and the fries were wonderful. It was regular food done so well that it brought it up to the level of a destination restaurant.”

“My husband and I love this restaurant! We talk about trying something new but are true creatures of habit here. We always order the Jaeger schnitzel because it is so delicious!! Add a couple glasses of wine and bread pudding for dessert and it’s a perfect meal. We did try the pretzel bites for an appetizer this time and they were hot, soft and buttery..the melted pepper Jack cheese and German mustard was a great pairing. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!!”

“Went here for my 21st birthday, and had a fantastic time. I had a few tequila shots for my birthday, along with the owner bringing me out a large sombrero to take pictures in.

My family and I loved our margaritas, and the chips and salsa were fresh.

I also lost my wallet, and the restaurant team had found it and I went to pick it up the very next day. These people will treat you like family here.

“Tried this place for the first time today...Edmonton Trail location. Ordered a pepperoni pizza to try it out and we were very pleased! Pepperoni is my favorite pizza and this place did not disappoint! We will be back. A generous amount of toppings, including cheese. Baked just right. The crust is very good as well...closest comparison would be to a Greek pizza. Just under $20 for a 12" Pepperoni which is a fair price.”

“I came for their amazing cream horns. Also got a cheese Danish and the old fashioned donuts to take home. The cheese Danish was the best I've had. The cream horns were huge, filled full, and delicious. Also ordered a breakfast burrito. Made to order with my choice of fillings. Hot and tasty. Service was fantastic. Hostess was very friendly. Very good coffee. Highly recommend.”

“Visiting Herman for the first time and Fernweh was by far one of our favorite experiences. Our bartender was amazing and went above and beyond in answering our questions questions. If you appreciate good craft cocktails and amazing service you have to try Fernweh. The owner was there and took the time to talk with us. It was so neat to listen to him and our bartender talk about the history and share so much with us. We didn't get dinner since we arrived a little later, but the dessert was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back!”
