“My daughter her two children and I just ate at this restaurant Thursday, 3 August and the food was terrific. Do not be put off by spartan decor, just wait for the food! The food was not only delicious but portion size was unexpected. If you live here- you know what I mean, if you do not the drive to this quaint little town is beautiful and the meal will be worth the trip.”

“This is just like the ole Mom and Pop places you could eat at back in the day. Cash only and it is a bar as well. Very good eats. If I'm ever back this way again I will go out of my way to frequent this establishment.”

“The young man that was serving tables was awesome. i ordered 2 chimmy chongas 1 steak and 1 chicken to go. The meat was so dry and tough I couldn't eat it.Most of it went in the trash. probably never order food from there again”

“A genuine country tavern with The best food in maybe even Missouri. The hamburgers are juicy with toasty buns (I dream about) but the killer was the ribeye plate. OMG! Seeing and eating is believing. cooked to perfection, was tender and really juicy. if anyone wants to go somewhere to enjoy the atmosphere, with the best food and owners this is the place.”
