“Went here after looking up local diners on google, as I try to support family style restaurants when I travel. Walked in and was greeted right away and told to sit where we wanted. Place was pretty full with locals all chatting across tables like a community of friends. I ordered a “three little piggies” omelette and my friend ordered the chicken fried steak. The meal was on our table in under 10 minutes even though the place was packed. My omelette was stuffed to overflowing with meats and the chicken fried steak was almost the size of the plate. My friend also ordered a cinnamon roll to go. When I say this thing was big, that is an understatement. It was the size of a large to go box. Friendly staff, homelike atmosphere, large portions, nicely priced and very tasty. Overall, a great place to eat! Stop by this place if you’re ever in Washington, MO!!!”

“Great food and drinks, I would hands down recommend this place to everyone! I had the walleye with onion rings, it brought me back to my childhood in ND. It was so delicious tender and flakey, best onion rings, and so much food. I didn’t walk away hungry or feeling gross from the fried food, super light and crispy breading. The barrel aged manhattan was awesome!! 10 out of 10 would eat here again and make sure others come try it too!!!”

“Great food but need to fix the time to wait for food. Call in ahead of time to make sure I’m there on time and still have to wait an extra 45 minutes for a take out order. Even if they aren’t packed. 🙄”

“We took a friend who wanted Mexican food out to dinner. None of us had been to this particular restaurant before. Based on the reviews, we chose this one—and we were not disappointed. Landon our server greeted us as we entered. He provided great service throughout the meal. The food was served quick and hot. (The veggie nachos were delicious!) The portions were quite filling, with some of us having to take some home. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. We were all very pleased and will definitely be back when in the area! Kudos!”

“10/10 this place is great! Next time I come I am trying the bison burger!! The staff were amazing and when I mentioned this was my first time here a lovely host named Diane showed me around the different rooms and all the rustic decor. My waitress was so nice and I tried her recommendation of the bread pudding and it was delicious! This is a great place to host parties or gatherings for events and I was informed there is no room rental fee for their large room where they can also set up a buffet for your guests.”

“It’s always so difficult to find a baker for holiday pies that can SAFELY accommodate the allergies in our family (dairy, egg, and gluten) but Birdie’s knocked it out of the park! The pumpkin pie was exquisite and definitely didn’t suffer from lack of flavor like a lot of vegan and gluten free items can. We will definitely keep coming back!”

“Absolutely fantastic night at The Office tonight. The service was awesome, the games were amazing, and the drinks and food were the best. Genuinely the most fun I've ever had at a bar. And they have a lot of events going on! Thursdays they have a pool night and darts tournament, for example. I might have to come by more often to play. Thank you!”

“A genuine country tavern with The best food in maybe even Missouri. The hamburgers are juicy with toasty buns (I dream about) but the killer was the ribeye plate. OMG! “I wanted to absolutely love it here but couldn’t. I was told the top shelf margaritas were Jose Cuervo and the cheapest house one was Montezuma. Montezuma is the worst. It causes horrible hangovers and super low quality. The last time I had Montezuma was accidental because the waiter was too busy to ask. I felt hungover even before making it home. I felt horrible all night. The salsa and chips were awesome. The rice was good but didn’t like the meat or cheese. The waitstaff seemed great.”

“We went here for my daughter's Birthday. We had 6 in our party and they seated us pretty quick. Waitress was awesome. Lacked on ask how we wanted the steaks cooked. I ordered the Prime Rib and it was a little to done for that steak for my taste. Didn't want to wait so ate it anyway but it was still good.

“Im a truck driver I had load in the area and decided to stop at Imo‘s and try a pizza. I went with the veggie pizza and I wasn’t too sure about it at first, but I was like hey why not try it so I ended up taking my first bite of the pizza and I had a slight pause and I thought to myself this is a really good pizza so I thought I would just leave a review. “We frequent the Draft Room for dinner and casual drinks and love their food and atmosphere! We decided to rent out the upstairs for a private party and we are so glad we did! It was the perfect space for a large group and a fun atmosphere for a celebration. Particularly love the various table set ups, private bar and restrooms. Having a ramp to get to the second story is also a huge plus for not only the elderly or handicapped but not having to carry items up and down the stairs was so nice! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of our wants and needs. The management, Ashley and Hailey, are probably kindest two people I’ve met in the industry! Downtown Washington is always a great place to go with friends and family. I definitely recommend this restaurant and rental space for any occasion!”

“Not many good restaurants opened in Washington, Missouri on Monday night so this one was recommended. We wanted a steak in Missouri before our airplane flight home. My filet mignon was very tender! My Cesear salad was very fresh. Rolls were good and warm. Our server was very attentive especially since it was not too busy at 6:30pm.
My husband really liked his( Sante fe marinated) steak too with onions strawa on top.”
