“On a Sunday Drive my friend and I passed through Marthasville and stopped for bite to eat. While the inside of the restaurant was closed, we were allowed to come in and order and sit on the quaint patio to enjoy lunch. We ordered an Italian Sandwich and a pizza. The sandwich was delicious . It was warm and toasty and had the right amount of meat and condiment ratio. Now the pizza. HELLO! I’m from NY and have had pizza in many many places but THIS was absolutely amazing! The cornmeal on the bottom of the crust to keep it sticking from the pain is something REAL pizza places to do. It was hand tossed and the sauce was delicious. They were not afraid to put sauce on it or the toppings. I give their pizza an A+. This little hidden gem in Marthasville is worth the drive from anywhere. It will not disappoint.”

“Very quaint place. Went for their Wine and Chocolate Pairing and then did a tasting of more wines. Had a very hard time picking a favorite bottle to take home. Everything we tasted was very good! I highly recommend a visit.”

“I don’t really know how anyone could write a bad review of this place. The food is great, the wine is fine, the views and sunsets are spectacular, the owners are such gracious people. It’s also becoming a legendary place to hear live music in all genres. Like all small businesses, they have growing pains, have trouble getting people to staff the place. If you want a fun, relaxing place to drink wine and listen to music, it’s one of our favorite places to go. Rain or shine, hot or cold, they have you covered.”

“This place and it's owners are the absolute best!! I am gluten free and never in my life did I think I would find gluten free desserts that taste as amazing as Birdie's do. They have such a great assortment of baked goods, anyone can find something they love there! They offer regular, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options too!! I recently had a birthday and, thanks to Birdies Bakeshop, I was able to have something I never thought I'd be able to get: a gluten free birthday cake! And it was the best chocolate cake (gluten free or otherwise) I have EVER had. So rich and decadent and gorgeous and I am just so happy to have such a wonderful bakery right here in Washington!!”

“Great food and drinks, I would hands down recommend this place to everyone! I had the walleye with onion rings, it brought me back to my childhood in ND. It was so delicious tender and flakey, best onion rings, and so much food. I didn’t walk away hungry or feeling gross from the fried food, super light and crispy breading. The barrel aged manhattan was awesome!! 10 out of 10 would eat here again and make sure others come try it too!!!”

“Okay, I just came back from Mexico (Isla Mujeres) and this place blows any MICHELADA I've ever had, out of the water. The rim of that Michelada was something I would lick no matter what it was slathered on. Don't plan to look pretty and drink this beer because it requires a hard lick before every sip and I'm talking a hard lick up half the glass to the top of the rim.
I ate there months ago. So, the impression this beer left in my mind is still hitting pretty hard.
Never forget PULQUE MICHELADAS!”

“Literally writing this review from the patio-we just had the taco smashburger and it is hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is stellar, views of the river pretty great and the owners and staff and friendly and helpful. This is exactly what Washington needs. We can wait to come back and keep trying the unique brews and specials! Special shoutout the kitchen-y’all have a weekly follower!”

“I have had nothing but fun times at The Sand Bar. Especially the crazy event nights I have attended. Literally got to ride a mechanical bull for my first time. Also of course they had coyote ugly night and that was a blast. Nothing like being able to experience what you saw on a movie and for me a movie as a kid. To top it off every Friday night is karaoke and than let me not forget they have dart boards, beer pong, and other entertainment things to do. Definitely recommend and I promise you it will be a blast.”
