Ainsley's Place Reviews
Excellent service and food until the end. Our server told our party of nine “not to stiff her , it’s how I make a living”. This was a completely unexpected and unnecessary. We tipped more than 20% in spite of her comment. The owner was wonderful but the servers comment left us all a little upset.
We recently had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Ainsley's Place. We were warned of a 45 minute wait to be seated but told it would be worth it . Boy, was it ever!

We came to this new little restaurant on a recommendation from friends. I ordered the jambalaya and it was fantastic! I’ve been back 2 more times-guess what? Jambalaya every visit. It’s that good!

Ainsley's Place in Hermann is a popular spot for a delicious and generous breakfast. It offers options like gluten-free meals and unique dishes such as the Grizzly Bear breakfast sandwich and lemon blueberry French toast. The food is a definite highlight, with the country gravy and apple pie French toast being particularly memorable. The 40-minute wait is often considered worth it. The service is attentive, and prices are reasonable. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with a charming garden walk around to the entrance. Guests praise the friendly, funny, and accommodating staff, who handle their roles very well. Many visitors enjoy dishes like pancake balls, the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese, and favorites such as aebleskivers, Rueben, eggs Benny, blackened chicken Philly, and vegan burger. While the coffee is good and the avocado toast is highly praised, it’s worth noting that hot tea and hot water are not available. The owner is known to be wonderful, and many visitors leave satisfied and eager to return, despite occasional comments from staff that some may find unexpected. Overall, Ainsley's Place leaves guests happy with a satisfying morning meal, making it a favorite for both locals and travelers.
