“I was there in late October, so the vibe may be different in the warmer seasons. Anyway, the dim lighting and live music made for a very intimate environment. Definitely recommend ordering an old fashioned. Drinks are a bit on the smaller side for the $$ but worth it if you're in town enjoying a little getaway. The outdoor seating area looks like it would be wonderful when warm out. I'll definitely stop back in during my summer visit.“
“The chicken spaetzle dish we had there two nights ago was great. 3 of the 4 diners at our table loved it! The 4th person had snitzle which she liked very much. Their French onion soup is quite good, having had it in the past. They had a spectacular multi-course price fixe dinner during New Year's week. It was tender, perfectly prepared beef medalians. The other courses were very nice. This restaurant is planning more of the price fixe dinners which I Highly recommend. They do a very nice green salad with a refreshing house dressing. For a light meal I would definitely order their house salad and French Onion soup. Add in a potato pancake with apple garnish for a nice yet simple meal.“
