Downtown Deli is I would say my favorite place to eat in Hermann. They always have great food, and exceptional, quick service, very friendly staff, and their Ice Cream is beyond well worth the price, as their Waffle Cones are always stacked ridiculously high, making it a great overall value. Downtown Deli hits 5 stars on service, price, portion sizes, atmosphere, and quality. Definitely worth checking out.
I miss the days they didn’t have the chips as a necessary option with the meals. You used to be able to pick a burger and any of the sides. Personally, I am allergic to the ranch seasoning on the chips, so I cannot have them. I wish the burger would be a little cheaper because I never get the chips. I got so excited hearing the lady who took our order say we could switch out our side…. But it ended up being the full price of a new side. It’s silly to not allow trade outs...
This place is amazing! I’m from Hermann and every time I go back home, I always have to get food from the Downtown Deli. They have a huge menu to where everyone is sure to find something they like. Being from Hermann, I have been there a lot and have never had a bad experience. This place is a must! Be sure to check out their daily specials.
