We stopped in here on a bitterly cold night in Jan '26, spoke to Walter for a while and got some recommendations. We ended up getting the Fish N Chips and they did not disappoint. This is a great stop if your in the area.

Good vibes, great service, and the food usually doesn't take long.
I've been eating here for years, and it used to be delicious. The prices do feel a little steep, but usually the quality of the food reflects the price that you pay. However, lately I've been disappointed more times than I've been satisfied and I have stopped coming back as much. I always order the spicy chicken sandwich, but this time instead of its usual bun it came on a regular untoasted grocery store hamburger bun, and didn't really taste like much. What makes me upset is that, despite the cheaper ingredients used, I'm still paying full price. I also frequently order the baked beans, which are usually delicious, but today (Sunday, Dec 28) tasted like they had absolutely no salt in them which bummed me out. It was just not good today. One time in the past, it's like they subbed in arugula or something on the sandwich instead of the slaw and it very quickly wilted and turned very bitter, and it was almost inedible.
I used to look forward to eating here, because historically I've always had great meals, but the sudden lack of consistency and cheapening quality of ingredients is just bumming me out, especially for how expensive it is to eat here. I just can't justify it anymore.
