We visited during the first Saturday of Octoberfest and the service, atmosphere and just overall vibe was really welcoming. Even when we were told by the first staff member that they were offering only a buffet option for breakfast, we were just looking for a quick bite to eat, another staff member spoke up right away and offered several options that did work for us including a vendor set up right behind the store on the street. Food was cold, served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils that barely cut through the brats. Their “most popular” brats, “best” and “beer” tasted the same. No beer on tap. Bought canned beer, but they only had plastic glasses to pour them into.
First off when you walk inside the smell is amazing! The food is absolutely wonderful and it’s clear why they have won so many awards. From their bratwurst to their side dishes the food was amazing. They also have many different packaged goods (snack sticks, bacon, summer sausage etc.). I highly recommend stopping in.
