I stopped by here Monday, 3/24 all excited marking a special milestone and the staff seemed rather dismissive and rude - especially the guy who was working there 3/24/25 in the 2 pm hour. Drinks weren’t that special and for the high prices I felt it was very overpriced and not a good value. Not the overall experience I’d hoped for either. I’d do Espresso Laine when in Hermann instead.

Cute coffee shop, a nice refresh of the few options for acceptable coffee around. I’m very much into coffee and was looking forward to trying it. Husband had the espresso and I had a cappuccino. The reason for 2 stars in service was that we got quite an unfriendly request leave because of our service animal. They didn’t even ask if it was service, which he is, and behaves well (super trained and was wearing his tag). I thought it was very insensitive and tbh service animals are allowed anywhere their owner goes.

The only dark spot in a beautiful weekend in Hermann. It looks like a lovely and cozy spot, we were very much looking forward to it. My husband and I found the two young people working to be unecessarily pretentious. I was made to feel completely ignorant while ordering a macchiato and then denied the additions I wanted to purchase. I understand what a macchiato is that is why I ordered it. We decided to take our coffee to go, skip lunch there and both wished we would have tried one of the other coffee shops in town. The espresso was burnt and not enjoyable. While we were mesmerized with the town itself, this place stands out like a sore thumb. Furthermore, the unprofessional responses from the owner on some of the reviews is surprising to me. As a business owner, this is an opportunity for much needed feedback. Reply to business owner: I wanted a little hazelnut syrup added as offered for 50 cents. There was no confusion, the young man flat refused so I just said I would take it as it comes. And with your response once again pointing to the customer being uneducated, I can see where the poor service originates.

I got the sausage burrito this morning and it definitely tasted off. I couldn't quite tell if it was the eggs or the sausage, but I couldn't keep eating it. I kindly let the cashier know and asked if everything was fresh. She just said, "it should be" and didn't offer to go check with the person that made it. I said again something is off and she just said "okay" without seeming concerned or the need to look into it. I just noticed the reviews that someone else recently had the same experience and they got food poisoning. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen to me.

I came in with a group of 8 people/ we were having normal conversation between all of us as we were waiting in line. We were told by the barista we were being too loud and needed to bring our “vibe” down a notch. We were not being rude or out of line in any fashion. So we decided if you don’t like our “vibe” we willl leave and take our business elsewhere. Wasn’t aware that coffee shop “vibe” is library level. And this was during Octoberfest weekend where everyone is in a higher energy vibe, correct?
