My husband and I drove through town and stopped in. Our meals were delicious. We forgot to take a picture until we were almost done. I didn't want to post a photo of my empty plate. I don't eat meat, and there were a ton of vegetarian options on the menu. My husband had the chili verde and loved it. Great service, too. Thank you for a great experience.
Waiter was very attentive to our tables. Food was great.

Best Mexican food we've had in a long time. We were just passing through, but will make a point to go out of our way to eat here. The salsa is so fresh and tastes home made, exquisite! The lunch special tamale plate was perfect portion size. Rice, beans, tamales all great as well. Chili gravy very authentic. Wish now we would have bought more salsa for home, it's not tomato sauce like other places. Will be back. Best Mexican food in Missouri.

It's the best Mexican food in Houston, MO and Cabool, MO. I know what you're thinking...it's the only Mexican food restaurant in those cities and you would be wrong there are others but they are not worth mentioning.

Our family came in, was super busy. Took almost an hour to get food. The chalupas are not as expected. Just a flat thing on a plate with everything tossed on a hard flat shell. I wanted Carnitas. I don't know what I got but it sure wants Carnitas. Just chuck of pork with Carmelized onions. No cilantro. Lucky I got soft taco shells. I was not impressed. I didn't even eat the chalupa I paid for because it looked gross. The chicken nuggets for the kids were literally burnt. Sorry, but not a very good first impression.

For a small town restaurant it is one of the best in the area. They pack their togo orders heavy, and I am never hungry when finished, I eat a lot. Super good and tasty food.
