For Houston, MO, this is your best bet. Went twice in one day last week. One butler was nearly raw on 1/2 in the center (ordered medium well) and the other was well, well downs (didn’t specify how I wanted it cooked). $1 dog bones which my puppers love.
The food was the best I've had in years. Big portions, cooked amazingly and prices were same as anywhere! It was a packed house during the lunch hour. But it was nice and for being packed (not an empty chair in the place) service wasn't awful.Kid-friendliness: Nobody was bothered by the toddler throwing food, cup, anything around him. Highchair was available.

Took an out of town friend here for lunch last week. He wore a KC BBQ sweatshirt. Which the server called out first thing...
