Andy's Frozen Custard

I've been going to this location at least once a week since they opened. always had a great experience and wonderful frozen treat for my son and I. today changed that completely. the manager working was rude and had a bad attitude. my sister ordered a cookie butter crunch but we soon discovered they were out of a few of the toppings. one being a key topping to hers and another being the hot fudge to my Texas two step I ordered. I decided not to get anything but she decided to substitute, which was an option THEY offered. the managers attitude was unbelievable and when I went back up to ask for her name she shook her head "no" at me and said "it doesn't matter" I've worked in the food service industry myself for years before. I understand having a bad day. I understand having difficult customers. so when I tell you we were in no way being difficult I truly mean that. I've never left a review for anywhere or anything before today. mostly because I know the impact it can have on someone who could be just having a hard time that day, but this was so uncalled for that here I am, leaving a review. my conclusion is they have good frozen custard but I'd recommend any location EXCEPT this one!

One if my favorite place for ice cream. I love the apple pie concert.

Made badly, ordered large and filled cups to only medium size, barely mixed…
customer service awful, staff upset because we ordered 6 different items and only received 5, eye rolls and frustrated sighing when we asked for our missing item.

Came to this location and the kid outside taking orders was apparently in a bad mood. But that is not the reason for my bad review. I ordered a cherry old fashioned soda with custard ice cream. What I received looked nothing like what is on the picture advertised. It was all basically soda with a small scoop of ice cream. I'm pretty sure the person that prepared it was the kid with the attitude that took my order. I suggest everyone to please spend your hard earned money somewhere else. There are more ice cream places in the area tha offer better customer service and get more for your money.

We ordered two chocolate concretes with almonds and pecans, we were given vanilla. They remade our order, when we got home we realized it was not what we ordered, AGAIN. The service was lacking. That was an expensive trip for the wrong custard, twice.

Do not order the Yummy Latte, it is a poop potion. I've had the runs for three days. I used to work there and they were pretty lax about food safety and on occasion I've gone there and had less intense bouts of sickness.

The concretes and Jackhammers are soup consistency within 10 minutes of getting them every single time we come here 😒 Who knows how much it even was this time because they didn't give me a receipt and I even had to ask for lids when ordering in the drive thru 😒 I'M DRIVING with melted custard, hello???

This andy's used to be so much better,but the last Few times I have came to the independence location The concretes barely have any toppings/addins at all. Like the whole Bottom half of my cup is just plain vanilla. It's very irritating Especially because it's so expensive. left there about an hour ago and spent $43.00 on 5 medium concretes. All but 1 was mostly vanilla ice-cream in the bottom half... It is a night and day experience at the independence location vs liberty location . Liberty location, they always put a lot of toppings and addins .You feel like you got your money's worth!!. I will add the employees in the independence location are very nice and i've never had any problems with them . It's probably management telling them not to use too many toppings but they really need to consider changing something because they lost us as customers and I'm sure many others because the skimping on addins. If I want andy's I will make the drive out to liberty or even blue springs
