We had been going there quite often but the last time I ate there they increased the price, decreased the amount of food portions and started charging for the bread and the salad that use to come with the meal they charge extra for that also so now I don't recommend it

Really enjoyed this restaurant. My wife absolutely loved it. She loves Italian or just pasta in general. I had an old-fashioned cocktail, which was absolutely wonderful. Now I have to say the atmosphere was really great. I have been to Rome and the way Cafe Verona is designed really pays homage to Italy. Its beautiful, romantic, and homey all at the same time.

Could someone please help me with how to resolve an issue with Door Das or Cafe Verona? It's $19 but you know also one of those principal of the thing issues because we were missing someone's lunch. One entree was missing from our order. I called Cafe Verona and got Dominque. She knew right away we were missing the Lasagna. She told me I was going to have to contact DoorDash in a very nonchalant, unapologetic way. I tried to do the missing item on DoorDash and they wanted to give me $3 for it. They should credit my account for the missing item. Them on top of that it said it couldn't be processed. Can they both really do this? Has anyone else had this issue? What did you do. I find it appalling and ridiculous. I can't imagine either place doing business that way but especially a local restaurant. I always try to support local. This is a real bad look for them.

An excellent place with good food. Everything I've had there is well prepared. The servers were very attentive and kind. Italian comfort food with a stylish flair. It's a little expensive for the food that you get. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants a nice meal out.

Popped into Cafe Verona during World Conference with 3 friends and we were impressed with the service and the food. Everything was fresh, arrived quickly and our server was lovely. The atmosphere is great and the mocktails are very good.

Snoody employee's I did a door dash there and the employee's especially the guy with long curly hair acted like I didn't matter they are what is wrong with this country!!!! And I Saw the bartender watering down the mixed drinks. Shameful!!!

Amazing Italian restaurant on Independence Square. Unique courtyard perfect for warm days and very quaint beautiful interior with amazing dishes.

I've passed by this place for so many years. Always wondered what it was. My partner and I came here Christmas Eve, we wanted Italian and our main go to place was closed. But that's just an occupational territory issue when your anniversary is on xmas eve and most places close early or are closed entirely. We tried a bit of everything. The dinner special that night was so good. The bread basket smells amazing, the overall experience was excellent. And even better that they are just under 10 min away from us. We came here again for new years eve and had planned to when we came the first time cause they had the same dinner special. Evening was overall fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. And we look forward to exploring the rest of the menu.

We ate here on Saturday and it was great. The Eggplant Parmesan Poppers and Bruschetta were a good start. All four main dishes we chose were excellent and paired nicely with the Tuscany wine. The service was good and the atmosphere relaxing. A very quaint restaurant in Independence, MO.
