Great food. I had about everything on the menu. Steak used in tacos and other dishes is sometimes a little hit and miss (a bit gristly at times). Tamales preparda and tacos Brianna are great. Agua frescas are authentic. I saw an older gentleman sitting in the corner shelling fresh tamarindo for them. Clientele is mostly Hispanic so they wouldn't be there if it wasn't authentic. Large Corona familiar beer and 64oz salt rimmed Micheladas being enjoyed across the restaurant....
Best enchiladas rojas in the KC area, a little spicy just like this Latina likes them! The quesadillas are also delicious, huge, and corn tortillas made from scratch.
It's ALWAYS busy in there and customer service not the best, but the food is so good that I overlook that.
Just call your order in 15 minutes in advance for pick up and you should be good :)

I've been hearing how good this restaurant is when they were in the gas station on the corner and, WOW, no wonder they needed a bigger place.
The FOOD is so fresh, everything from the tortilla chips (I suspect homemade) to the avocado is incredible.
The DO NOT serve chips and salsa like most.( It did look like they offered chips and gauc $)
Service was FAST we sat, ordered and ate in approx 45 minutes. Super affordable!
