If I have a great experience the first few times I go to a place, and the experience isn't so good the next time, I typically give the place a few tries just in case they were having an off night. Last night was the 3rd time in a row Id been to Catrinas, gotten my food to go, and it was cold and old.

While everyone was nice and ensured I was taken care of, the food was not good. I was told 10 minutes and waited about 20 minutes and when I arrived home less than 10 minutes later, the food was BARELY warm. I had 2 orders of the fish tacos, and the fish was pretty dry. The flour tortilla shell was kind of stale or somewhat firm. For $40, and a 3rd try, I was not happy. They were giod at first but probably the last visit for me. Plus, if you want extra sauce, it's $3 - just giving a heads up.

Service was very continuous and efficient however not so much where it was annoying we were able to eat our food at our own pace. Atmosphere was amazing and energetic! The food simply put was absolutely delectable. Would strongly recommend.
P.S. The decor was very intriguing as well.

Fabuloso!! Had a marvelous evening at Catrina's eating shrimp wrapped in bacon, street corn, mini chimichangas, and flan!! Presentation was spectacular, atmosphere was submerged in Day of the Dead decor, guacamole made at your table!!

Food was great but the service was off as our waiter forgot to get our queso when asked 3 times and the hidden 18% gratuity for a party of 6.

We visited on a Wednesday with no real specials being offered. ie; no taco Tuesday or the like, and still this place was packed. The place was clean and fresh, with vibrantly painted walls . The food came out of the kitchen quick and hot. I gave service 4 stars only because the waitress was new and she wasn't yet fully trained. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars across the board.
