Shelly and Michael were the best! They are a great team and were great fun! They were efficient and handled the bit, of a rush that walked in around us. They made suggestions tailored our wants. Even when the crowd seemed a bit chaotic they were cool and pleasant! 10 out of 10! And the float was delicious, too!
Enjoyed our little snack stop! The ice cream nachos were delicious!

Stopped in on a rainy day for nostalgia primarily. Something was missing - seems like they're targeting young hipsters now or something instead of older folks and families. No mention of old fashioned sodas on new menu. No glass nostalgic drinks for sodas or shakes- using generic plastic. Worker was dressed like a typical young person of today very casual. Used to be more of a trip down memory lane imo so I probably won't return but I do love the Independence Square overall.
They should serve the fountain drinks in the old fashioned glasses...not plastic. Plastic ruins the experience of having an old soda fountain drink

The kids who work there are always very helpful and friendly! I love how they still make their ice cream floats in the old fashion way of syrup and spritzer and the place has some really cool history

I just had a caramel mocha latte malt - woah. And it's a small history classroom inside. Perfect for a hour-long family outing.

I knew I was going to see someone yapping about it going “woke.” I for one loved the pride. It created a very safe environment. The portions are big, workers are patient and friendly, and the ambiance is nice. Highly recommend the stackers, but arrive with an empty belly so you can fit it all!

Classic soda fountain where they really do hand craft sodas. Sodas were delicious as was the root beer float.

Not wheelchair accessible. Someone had to go inside and get our ice cream while we sat outside. The rest of our group was inside.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not!
We only grabbed a soda from the cooler. Maybe next time we will try one for their famous root beer floats.
