I live in blue springs so looks like I won't be wasting anymore fuel to shop here if they can't be bothered to be open when they claim they are. shame I really enjoyed their bakery.

Looking to grab lunch for a friend and a quick search showed Dave's Bakery and Deli with some nice reviews. I got a roast beef sandwich and it was really good. Nice amount of meet and nice fixing's. I'll definitely stop again when in the area.

If there's one certain thing about me, it's sandwiches. This local breakfast and lunch counter in the heart of downtown Independence is just what any morning or midday trip needs. You walk in, and it's a classic lunch counter with the glass pie display case, the old school menu board, and the bartop tables and chairs lining the dining room. I'm really happy I came in and grabbed the Turkey Club w/ a side of fries. It's always time for a sandwich

Nice little turkey sandwich at a very old-school-style place. Quick and clean, and while not the greatest menu in the world, definitely a quality lunch. Allegedly they've filmed the new Chiefs Hallmark movie here (in July!), so keep your eyes open for that if you watch it after November '24.
