I was in a hurry so I asked for a recommendation of something ready to go. The server recommended roast beef or meatloaf plates. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy were perfect, the meatloaf was a little less firm than I like so I ate the more cooked edge portions. Next time I’ll try the roast beef. Overall very clean, friendly, good food ands a well priced. I’ll go again when I am in the area.

First time here. The breakfast sandwich was ok, nothing special about it. The biscuits and gravy were thrown out because they tasted like raw flour. The hash brown has no color so just tasted like shredded cooked potato versus fried. Sorry but fast food breakfast is better and less expensive.

Great service, such delicious food served with a smile. This wonderful establishment that serves down home, delicious comfort food and the 1958 ambiance you have to experience. No frills, clean restrooms and family friendly atmosphere. There really are no words, this wonderful establishment is absolutely divine.

Asked for their special which other board says kc strip and three sides for 14.95 and below it says can be breakfast but when I ordered they said no you don’t get three sides that’s only for dinner. Even though it doesn’t say that on their board. Also waitress was kinda rude when I tried to ask about it. Been going down hill for awhile here. So hard to get a refill on drinks and then even if you go the whole meal without one refill and you are leaving they will ask do you want one they charge you for a Togo.

We moved here a little over a year ago from Arizona and we have been eating places that we're familiar with. But yesterday we decided to try englewood café and I'm a customer for life. Everything was so good. Homemade food that has so much flavor, and I wish I new how they make there sausage cause that was on another level. Great food and service. We'll be back for dinner now. Can't wait to try the pork tenderloin sandwich next!!!

Priced way higher than the original TJ’s Café in belton and grandview. I found a piece of hair in my food.. and the mushrooms look canned

As I watch national chain diners go out of business I was so glad to discover this place. For $9 my husband and I were able to split a biscuits & gravy with bacon, eggs & hash browns all smothered in plenty of gravy!

Watched two others get the plate sized tenderloin.. food was delicious and wonderfully priced! We will return!
