First time at a Gates BBQ. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Great service and delicious bbq. We appreciated the unique atmosphere and helpful staff!

We spent $25 per person, for a turkey sandwich on plain bread and two plates with nothing but two slices of bread and a heavily sauced thigh and a wing on it. They did not include sides with that, and the chicken was extremely dry. For the price I did expect better.

food service was horrible. food was cold. slab was burnt. i asked for another one they waited about 10 minutes then said they were out. i got a long end only 4 bones. i always spend 50 to 70 dallars there. i’ll never go there again. what food i had left i had to wrap it up by myself. no customer service.

Ribs skinny and dry coleslaw didn't like but the beans were delicious they switched out the cash drawers after my order was taken don't understand why can't you wait then change cash drawers. Plus my meal felt like I was over charged.

Coming from the south, this isn’t a bad BBQ place. Food was good, service was weird but excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect! Got the Mixed plate and it was huge! A lot of meat comes on that plate! WOW! Glad it was recommended!

I had the worst - tough - barely any bbq taste brisket here tonight. Bought beef on bun with fries. Normally it's pretty good at other locations. I stopped at 40 Highway store. Brisket was horrible. I feel worse that people visiting KC asked me what they should order and I said Beef on Bun. I am sorry you had such a horrible sandwich. This is not normal great KC BBQ. Fries were good.

My friend bought a turkey sandwich and fries for $15 and they only gave her 10 fries how you going to raise your prices and lower the quality then we called the manager she was ghetto she said bring it back who going to go allllllll the way back for them to correct their foolishness. Instead she could've said ok ma'am we can reimburse your money or give you another order if you can't make it today
