Pleasant experience at this place! I walked in at around 11 AM to request a cookie cake to be made for our little one’s birthday party that day and was guaranteed to have it ready around 12:30 PM. I gave them the “theme” of the cookie cake and kindly let them know to “be creative and do what you believe is best”. I went to pick up the cookie cake and was very impressed! For those that are curious, this cookie cake tasted as good as it looked and had the kids at the birthday...
The cookies are amazing, as they've been from the beginning. My issue is the staff. Met one young lady who was VERY nice...wish I could remember her name. But the guy(Mgr) and the girl with the piercings leave a little to be desired in the way of interaction with the public. Very cut and dry...almost as if it's a bother to ask a question or take an order. Maybe they were having an off day.
Been ordering cookie cakes from here for over a decade. Grew up on Great American down in Texas and literally cried when I found one up here in KC. I was 6 months pregnant at the time so I immediately ordered one for my baby shower even though we already had cake and have ordered one at least annually ever since. They have gotten me thru many of my kid’s birthdays; cake was always on time, as requested, and fresh!That said .. Man Great American, you guys really need to switch...
