Hy-Vee Market Grille

I ordered omelette and coffee. The waiter was friendly and fast. Unfortunately it took the cook over 20 minutes to make the omelette. I was the only person in the restaurant. The food was good once it arrived. Restaurant can benefit from a deep clean.

Twice I have had delivery orders placed when nothing was delivered. When I call, they say nothing can be done. There’s no assistance or attempt to give Instacart support. There’s no offer to fulfill the same order and give fuel points despite the lack of delivery or completion of the order on their site within the time slot.

A great place to have a quick lunch and a great place to get dinner for the family.

Went to the Market Grill for lunch (23rd street location). After waiting 45 minutes for my chicken salad I finally had to ask for it to go. The bartender said there was only one cook and it took a long time to cook chicken. There was only two tables including mine in the restaurant. And the other table left to order their food at the cash register outside of the restaurant.
My mom's sandwich was SUPER greasy and the fries weren't very hot. My salad was FULL of lettuce, a few pieces of chicken and about three croutons with a couple small bitesize pieces of burnt bacon. It only came with a very small container of dressing that didn't even cover half of the salad. If you're on a time restraint definitely don't go! It's sad because the Market Grill has a chance to be great but it's not.

Stopped at this store last night for steak dinners. Hope you like your steak extra rare! Ran out of steaks so this is what they served! Line when I arrived and 3X as long when I left. Entire process needs work! Won't be back next week!

I had some time to kill, so I thought I would try out Market Grill at the Independence Hyvee. There were maybe 8-9 people in there when I came in and the bartender/server. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The service was good. I had a tea and she offered a refill in a to go cup which was nice. The meal didn’t take too long to come out. Sadly, the fries were over done, as well as, the burger and bacon. Thankfully the flavor of burger and fries was good.

Good food and kids eat free. You do order next to the restaurant and they bring it to you.

Vegetarian options: I got a vegetarian skillet.

Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free.

We visited three different stores between yesterday and today and this Hyvee was the ONLY one with the PRETTIEST PERFECT ROSEBUDS AND BABY BREATH bouquets EVER! My bf was able to make my Valentine's Day early!
