Spent 30 minutes waiting for food after ordering on app. They didn't have a salad so it took another 20 minutes to get a refund then miraculously a salad appeared, they couldn't figure out how to do a refund I guess. Will not be returning.

The food there is no complaint. The service perhaps... but every single time I come here you can always hear everyone arguing screaming at one another. When they open the window they then have an attitude with the customer....

Alright so 3 things:1) This crew has to handle the Independence population and that's already a nightmare, however,2) They do a damn good job. Once everything is good, everything is GOOD. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, added lettuce and tomato. Not only didn't have the veggies but the bacon was missing. However,3) Sometimes things happen. I've had my order messed up a couple of times but I never even worry about it. I just let them know what happened, flash a receipt, and it's taken care of without question. I've worked restaurants, mistakes happen, it's all good. The speed and response with a "no problem we'll take care of you" attitude really matters. Especially when you're in Independence. Thank you all for feeding me fairly, treating me well, and knowing your audience. Doing it right.

We waited for 12 minutes to have out order taken with one car in front of us, and then was asked to wait when we got to the speaker. That was another four minutes. The total was then higher than what the board said. When asking why the employee says “I guess they need to change it.” I asked for the manager to help and she did at the window. Before the window opened I observed one employee with a tablet and a cell phone in the service area. There were two others on their phones, the one that really gets to me is the one wearing protective gloves using his phone and then returning to the kitchen where I observed him then handle food. No wonder the line wasn’t moving with everyone on their mobile devices!! The manager explained it was a medium meal was the reason for the raised total. I told her I did not order the medium, only the small. She promptly corrected it and provided two tacos at no charge, which I do appreciate. The gloves and phone thing was seriously a breach of food safety and should be addressed.

I'm there only for the regular tacos, 2 for $1.49!! Crave these sometimes, and what a dealio ? Well, I've been to this one in Independence about 10x since December '23. I remember in Jan-Feb, evening shift went out of their way in customer service - providing extra lettuce that I asked for, putting it on the side which was thoughtful, yet I was driving and needed it stuffed in the tacos so ready to eat, lol. Last week I got 4 tacos that I ate in the parking lot - I went back to drive thru to replace one that was very messy with too much sauce spilling out of the taco. Sauce got on my clothes, face, and all over my hands. They replaced it without question with a fresh one. I was going to point out that a different taco was cold (the other two were hot and fresh). Anyway, keep up the great smiles and service. Hopefully the manager will train how to stuff those tacos with lettuce, and please lighten the sauce. We can always add our own. There is a location in Overland Park that surprised me on 3 visits last year - they were normally putting extra lettuce in them, and soooo yummy ? Highly recommended.

Was closed yet open. Sat in drive thru for about five minutes with no one answering the drive thru. Pulled up to the window only to be told they were only open for deliveries and door dashers. Yet drive thru couldn't be operated? Made no sense, considering we could have sat right there in the parking lot and ordered our food for delivery but they wouldn't take orders in the drive thru.

Why did I just sit in This drive thru for over an hour. I waited 30 minutes before even getting to the speaker to order and wanted to leave but was trapped with cars behind me. If you are open 24 hour you should have the same service over night that you do during the day. It shouldn't take an hour to serve 4 cars ahead of you. Don't come here if it's after dark or you'll be stuck here.
