J's Fish & Chicken Market

Asked for cod got catfish there is no AC inside the dining area we were new coming in so I had no idea what to order did study the menu asked questions to the cashier She acted like I should know this after I told her this is my first time here at the restaurant.

Made an online order hours ahead of time for 5:15p Got to the restaurant and waited for 15mins to be helped- and then was told they did not have my order and none was made. After showed them the confirmation they were able to ‘find’ it in the system and it took another 20mins to make the order. Received my food over 30mins after it was scheduled for pickup. Staff was very unhelpful and nonchalant

They put lemon pepper all over my order.When I ask for it not to be on there and I could not come back because I was bowling but I tried to call and no one would answer the phone so then I turn around and call back and they tell me no I can't have my order replace.D I think the place sucks

Went in on a Tuesday evening at 7pm. There were a few folks waiting but the line was moving right along. I ordered my food and the cashier named Leer was not a pleasant person at all. She borderlined on rude. The food came in a very reasonable time and was piping hot even when I got it home. The wings were delicious but they shorted me one. I was sad because I wanted that wing. :( i will go back even though Leer needs to learn to smile and not be so curt.

Got a family order of catfish, it wasn't catfish. Had the nerve to give us whiting.

Take out/delivery....the food was soggy, fries not crispy. The portions were good sized, but most of it got fed to the dog~ cause of being soggy

I always order over the phone but there is really no reason because for some reason they never start it until I get there and then I’m still waiting, which defeats the purpose of calling ahead, and then they add lemon pepper on things that I ask them not too. However I enjoy their fish strips, wings and mozzarella sticks most but we’ve tried other things. Inside is too small but they are always busy. With the barber shop in next door it’s extremely hard to find parking and the parking lot sucks with all the holes so I tend to park on the street next to building

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I was there in October 2024 the wings were bigger and they had spicy wings this location didn't but the chicken is good would go back again.
