If you want ooey gooey hot plates of Mexi food like enchiladas, this ain't the place. But they do have good seafood-based Latin dishes. I got the seafood tostada. It wasn't really what I expected-- it was basically a deconstructed tostada. And the topping that normally would be on the shell was more in a chilled salad form. It tasted good, but was just hoping for something different. My friend got one of those big shrimp cocktails that are kind of in a spicy red beer...
The food was the best I've had in KC, and the service is incredible! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and while there was a small wait, the atmosphere was so fun that it made it feel like no wait at all. I lost my card and did have a little trouble getting in contact with them at first, but luckily I did and they were super helpful. I would absolutely recommend, best restaurant experience I've had in a while!
