Old fashioned drive-in complete with car hops. Zip burgers are very tastey and tbe home-made rootbeer was excellent. I should have bought a gallon to go. I would be a regular if I lived in Independence.
The woman working is fabulous. Food was okay. The place needs a really good cleaning. And there was a pretty bad smell of mold. I'm not sure if it was from the ac being bad or from the older building but definitely needs to be checked out. Would be a wonderful place if it had a bit more life to it.
1969 my very first job! Best root beer. Best Root Beer Floats (Black Cow) anywhere. Can’t believe it’s still there. If I was still in Independence, I’d go back for sure. Mike York, heath, Texas
