The food there is good but the service, Oh my God it's shamefully horrible. They literally did not honor an order I placed online because they wanted to charge more for the plate of food and the price on the online website was 5 dollars cheaper. You'd think they'd give you a call to let you know that they will not make this order but no. After driving half an hour to the place, they tell you they did not make the food because they don't check the online orders from the website. They only check WhatsApp now. I've been there three times and three times, my order was messed up. First time they forgot my beef suya. Granted they gave it to me the next time I ordered but I kind of wanted it when I actually ordered it. Second time was just awful. Third time they did not prepare my order at all. This place is just a joke.

This place was recommended to us last July but it’s a drive from our home so I finally went so myself and Husband could celebrate Valentine’s Day over the weekend at home. The food, the service and establishment was warm and welcoming. Best African food I’ve ever had!!! 10/10 for sure…. actually when I got to my car and tasted it I hurried back inside and bought more because I knew my Husband was going to eat it all from me if I had not…it’s a must try!!!

It was our first time trying My Village Grill and it was wonderful! Since my family hadn't experienced this type of food before, so Victor (owner) brought out several things to try. My favorite was the beef suya. We were told it was a little spicy, but it was so good that even the members of my family that don't appreciate spice like I do, couldn't stop eating it. The sambusas were similar to an empanada, although the spices are different. They were excellent as well. Victor told us they have a buffet on the weekends and we will definitely have to go so we can try more new food. Loved it here!

I was dying for an african restaurant somewhat close to where I live so you can imagine how happy I was to see this little joint a couple of blocks from home and next to my favorite karaoke bar. A couple of times my chicken was undercooked or the forgot an item but the flavors are what keeps me coming back. The wait is a bit long but if you dont mind waiting it's very nice and the staff is very friendly.
