Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Me and my fiance have ate here many times. And I myself for over 20 years. Tonight we were placed in a cubby type area to a filthy booth but we were sat to the left of it. Someone came and cleaned the top of it off after a while but swept everything to the floor and it was there till we left …. So that was a sight to see. Now the thing that really made me upset. Our waitress came to our table with our food and handed me my plate so I grabbed it and instantly I reacted like I had grabbed a hot skillet… I became so pissed! It was so hot it burnt my hand. I’ll post a picture of my hands. Where I grabbed was the side of the deep dish of my carbonara meal. If a camera was pointed my wait you would’ve seen my reaction to the pain. Now I didn’t go to hospital for this because it wasn’t a wound causing burn and really don’t think there’s anything I could do legally. The waitress said she was sorry and said that she’s so used to the heat that it doesn’t affect her…. Well I ended up touching sides to see if her side was cooler which it ended up being just warm. While my side I grabbed was scorching. I’m unsure of how if it’s from how and or where it was placed back in the kitchen. But it was painful. So I continue to eat my meal with my hand throbbing . I should’ve spoke to the manager about it… but I was so mad and my hand was hurting. I just wasnt in the right mental state to carry a convo with the manager. Anyways. Tonight was shit

food was great when we got it we did the never ending pasta and it took the server quite a while to bring us refills on pasta breadsticks drinks etc so we finally just gave up and left because we were clearly weren't getting refills on any more food after the second time

I took a friend of mine to lunch today, around 1:00. We were at 40 hiway and noland rd. I had not been here for a couple of years, no particular reason. I ordered the five cheese ziti, and she had the soup and salad. I wish I had followed her choice. My dish was probably the worst pasta dish I have ever had. Do your cooks know that the pasta water should be salted? I don’t like a lot of salt on anything, but no matter how much salt I put on this pasta, it was still the most bland dish I have ever had. Ever. Our waitress was very good, and the salad was good. The place was all but empty when we arrived, and the same when we left. Now I know why. I will never return to this restaurant. Boy, has it gone downhill.

What happened, it was good but not like it used to be! No taste to my zuppa soup on a cold day! And the tiramisu had very little flavor!

I love the olive garden.

Great food ,service was excellent.
The only issue is that for some reason, my card was compromised the n3xt day after use at this location

Hostess first told us that it would be 5 minutes more people came in she forgot to put us on the list and proceeded to tell us that we had to wait 45 minutes to an hour because more people had come in they were so unorganized

I decided to stop in and get soup and salad for me and my daughter to go. I went to the bar to get the beer and order. Unfortunately, they have a policy that states that if I want something to go, I need to go to the takeout counter and order from there. So I was required to pay for my beer and then go to the takeout counter and order my to-go. For a split second, I felt devalued because I was getting a to-go order. He only had one other customer. I think nowadays more than ever, it's the little things that will make you want to come back or not.
