We stood at the drive through for a good while, but no one took our order. We heard the workers taking, but they paid no attention to the drive through. Not a good start when we had decided to give Sheridans another chance after 7 years of avoiding the place. We went to the window and placed our order. The attendant was friendly and our orders came out right.The custard was a disappointment however. It just tasted like bland sugared cream. This place really relies on the mixins for the flavor. The texture wasn't my favorite either. If you like custard that is not overly sweet, and has a smooth texture, look elsewhere. Thank goodness there are multiple other, better options not too far away!

My phone has been yelling at me to review Momo's for about a week and a half now so I guess I better listen to it. Momo's is one of the last places we went when we were visiting Missouri, it was lunch time and we were hungry but not really hungry, I deployed from the house in search of Momo's as we had seen it numerous times driving around Independence. I finally found it and was suprised to see they had a drive through where I ordered a couple of meals and some pickles. . .in. . .in a sack. . . Anyway, the food was exactly what we wanted it to be, exactly what we expected, small homey panini's perfect for those "I'm hungry but I don't really know if I'm hungry," times. I recieved great service at the drive through cube and the ice cream was amazing! I know this because my friends dog waited until we weren't looking and shlorped half a cup of it into his face in one lick. . .he's a great dane. . .he has a big face. If we lived in Independence this would be a pretty frequent visit for us. Sorry, no pictures :(

This place has the best frozen custard!! Somrtimes there is a wait but rest assured it is well worth it. Give the Grant's grasshopper concrete a try!!

Definitely prefer Andy's when it comes to custard, but Sheridan's was very fast and is closer to home and the freeway. I ordered a heath concrete but there was barely any candy in it. I ended up tossing about 1/3 of it because it wasn't what I wanted without the candy. I got my little sister the oreo concrete and she couldn't finish it since it was so much. I was told regular and large were the only sizes; I wish I could order something smaller. Won't be back- must not be for me- but it was worth a shot and the outdoor seating area was very cute.

Saturday of Memorial Day weekend - dropped by at 8:15pm - told they can't take any orders due to being out. It's a custard place and you are out for the next 30plus minutes!?!? Lost count of how many people walked up to order and told the same thing! Saw 5 ish cars in drive thru. Several out of towners staying at Best Western for baseball game. I would think the lost sales and lost reputation would help pay for another machine. You can't make as you go? You don't have a second machine? Nothing like visiting a custard place that is out of custard.
