If the staff can’t take your drive thru order immediately Starbucks is usually really good at informing customers that they will be right with them. This was not the case today at the Blue Ridge Crossing location. The line was long. When I reached the speaker my window was rolled down but no one said anything. There were several cars ahead of me but they were at a standstill. Eventually they started moving around the corner to where they were no longer visible. I said hello into the speaker several times but no one said anything. I sat for a while but no one said anything. I assumed the speaker was broke after waiting and no word from staff. I eventually moved forward because there were cars behind me . When I approached the window the Starbucks employee opened the window and said “your total is”. I told her that I did not place an order because I assumed the speaker was broke after waiting that long and no one answering back after I said hello several times . I pulled off. I called the store to complain and I suggested that they make some sort of announcement to all vehicles at the speaker even when they are extremely busy because I assumed it was broke after waiting . Her comment was “ We always tell the customers we will be with them”. Usually they do but this time they did not. Not sure if the people working the window are new employees. If so please make sure they are talking to approaching customers when it’s busy. I had to wait in the long line for everyone to get their order and I was not able place my order. I was not able get out of line due to the way their drive thru is designed. I received no apology from the lady at the drive thru window. Her reaction was a jaw drop.

Extremely weird people that expect a tip every time even for just a cup of coffee. The customer service is very awkward but more than that.It's super slow.I have spent fifteen to twenty minutes every time i've came through this drive through. The good news is mcdonald's is directly across the street.They have better coffee.If you like it black, they do not expect a tip and you can get it for under two dollars.I don't see why people come here

Sad experience today. I was not given a price, not a big deal, but left to sit at the window, no greeting, no smile, no your order will be ready in a minute. Starbucks is supposed to be about friendly service, what happened???😢

They need to really work on there time when people are going through the drive through I have been in the drive-thru line15 minutes and still in the drive through the cars are hardly moving

This is a newer Starbucks and the drive thru is a little tricky to get to but it usually doesn't have the line that some of the others have so I prefer going here and they are always nice and it's very clean.

The entire staff at this location is amazing, humble and kind! The new manager Joey is just a ray of sunshine! My daughter and I love coming here and it is so nice to be a regular at this store and having the awesome baristas greet you by your first name every time you walk in the door. They sure do treat you like family here. The drinks are great, but the staff and the experience make your day that much better. We always leave with a smile! Maximus, Lauren, Zo, Michelle, Emilia, Abby, Jocelyn, Joey and everyone on the morning or night crew goes above and beyond to make each coffee and experience the best it can be! Thank you for making each day a great day! Call it kindness in a cup!

This Starbucks seems to be understaffed on Saturdays. If not understaffed, no desire to work. The drive thru has an average wait time of 10 mins. So deciding to go here is a gamble. The wait time inside is no better. At that point you should’ve sat in the drive thru. At least you’ll get your drink first. I’ve been in the drive thru for 16 mins and just now placing my order.
